nah it's 2017 they'll get like a 7.4 or so

 

This is the best Manchester Orchestra album.

I just got to this song on my first listen. Blown away.

 

Exactly the same here. Those drums.

 

My pictures were just of the Deluxe version of the vinyl. The "black smoke" variant I believe.

 

Yeah, I find the color hideous, at least in the pictures. I just have this visceral reaction to it.

 

Gotta love their description of the band: "the indie rock band led by Robert McDowell".

 

Wasn't a huge fan of the live versions of The Parts that were floating out there, but the production on the album version really brings out the best in it

 

not super stoked on alot of it initially but i feel like its gonna need a lot of space and time to get to know these songs. the wolf and the mistake are my initial favs

 

I love that the sunshine resolves on the first beat of the grocery

This is everything I wanted it to be. Will almost certainly have more thoughts later, but right now, I'm just happy. Got chills so many times throughout my first listen.

I just actually looked at my vinyl - I didn't realize side D had the little girl and free etched on.

 

It's not my favorite (at least I don't think it is yet) but I'm really liking "The Mistake". I remember a couple of different people who already had the album last week not liking that one very much.

This whole album is so amazing though. I've had goosies the whole way through multiple times now.

 

Won't be able to listen until tonight, but I don't hate everyone that is able to enjoy this right now.
