I see what you mean, didn't really think about that... I'm just assuming it will be a perfect square image without the white space, which would be 6 pictures. If it was made up of 9 images then it would be a rectangle image with white space above and below?

 

I assume the middle row of 3 won't have white on either side and will be larger in size than the top and bottom.

What makes you think that?

 

Seems pretty obvious to me. The art has to be square, in this case a 3x3 grid. If the bottom of the art is where the picture ends, then it will cut off from the top row.

Plus, why include it if it isn't part of the art? It's like a letterbox thing. The album name and artist will be printed there.

 

A lot of his art is in that 16x9 format.



It does look like it'll be like that in the center. White around it.
