Doesn't seem like they'll be selling that stuff at the show, only at a pop up shop a bit from the venue.

Also a strict limit on how many items you can purchase so if you plan on getting someone to get something* for you, keep that in mind.

Was listening to We Don't Need To Whisper a little tonight and started thinking about an alternate history where Blink doesn't go on hiatus after Self Titled and what became WDNTW and When Your Heart Stops Beating was combined into one release

    1. The Adventure - Pretty sure this was the first AVA song I ever heard and was completely blown away. We joke about it now, but this was a totally new sound from Tom at the time. Kind of like Feeling This set up the new sound on Self Titled this would have been the perfect opener to next evolution of Blink.

    2. When Your Heart Stops Beating - Pretty sure the perfect Blink formula was to go from a anthemic Tom opener right into a good Mark track. Keeps going with the new experimental sound.

    3. It Hurts - Opener has a little of that Whats My Age Again? vibe to it and then goes a little dark. This could have been a fun one to hear Tom and Mark trade off some vocals.

    4. War - This one could have easily fit on a Self Titled era Blink album. Great chorus too.

    5. Baby Come On - Probably one of my favorite Mark songs of all time

    6. 155 - Yeah, two Mark tracks back-to-back, but hey if there was one complaint about post-hiatus releases it was that they were too Tom heavy.

    7. Do It For Me Now - Man this one would have been a real big change for Blink at that time. Easily would have been one of my favorites of this album.

    8. Cliff Diving - Needed something to speed things up after Do It For Me Now. This one would have been about as poppy as this album would have gotten. Could have been a fun summer single.

    9. Make You Smile - Needed a ballad to follow up the success of I Miss You - this would have been a perfect one.

    10. Start The Machine - A good Tom closer - kind of like this album's "Lost Without You"

    11. Chapter 13 - Tempted to end it on Start The Machine, but I couldn't leave Chapter 13 off of this, and it would be the perfect closer to this album.

Singles would have been The Adventure, When Your Heart Stops Beating, Cliff Diving, and Make You Smile

Some things would be slightly different in each song I'd imagine. Slightly different guitar, dual vocal....Good list. But knowing what I know of those songs and their albums now a single album of these would be jarring. Obviously not in your alternate reality

I can personally only discuss something so much before it makes me sick of it. I still listen to the tracklist I made out of the two discs once a week-ish

Goddamn I forgot how much I genuinely love WDNTW

  10. I feel very much the opposite. I revisited the album this year and realized that most of it’s garbage to me. I love it I Empire though

I still listen to The Dream Walker a lot but don't really return to any of the other AvA at all, Love is probably my second most listened to nowadays. Dream Walker is probably my favourite release from any of them post Untitled.

  12. Oof... hated that too. Mercenaries and Tunnels are good. The rest not so much.

This is coming from someone who detests the direction they've gone in with the latest LP and felt Neighborhoods was lacklustre though. So in fairness there's really not a lot for it to stand above anyway for me haha

D*Face sold prints of the album cover for like $450 bucks last week. Sold out fairly quickly. Signed by the band as well. Best of luck to Blink collectors out there ha.

I'm actually proud of Mark for not answering what his favorite song off of the Deluxe edition of California is. I swear he answered that same question 4 or 5 times since Misery actually dropped.

But yeah his Q&As are a big waste of time. I'm shocked that people who are giving a chance to ask him a real question waste it. Or maybe it's on him for not answering better questions. Mixture of both probably.

  16. While I agree with you, I will not stop asking what his favorite Back to the Future film is until he answers.
