This is going to be the least helpful, most obvious piece of advice I will ever give. Can you move the bed away from the wall?

I don't move around a lot. I wake up and switch the side of my body I'm sleeping on but that's it. the other half of my bed is where my laptop sleeps. I'm very conscious of what's on the bed with me. I swear I could have a glass of water on the other side of the bed and not spill it in my sleep

 

To all, yes, the bed can be moved. It only fits in the room one of two ways, one that make it to wear only the headboard is against the wall, but that layout makes using the rest of the space less effective. But, we had it that way for like a year, and it was fine. No issues. I hate that it's not even a consideration on her part. I'm sure if I bring it up, she will begrudgingly accept.

She has seriously suggested I buy a second bed. To fix her problem. I am so angry that this is a real problem lol.

 

I move around A LOT. very lucky my girlfriend is a heavy sleeper.

Same. I've been asleep and rolled over and had my arm swing and hit a girl in the head and wake her up multiple times.

My advice Cam, which is usually what I suggest, is to have a legit talk about it with her and speak from your heart and if she doesn't empathize then you may have a real issue.
