This may have been asked before, but what time do gates usually open slash have opened in years past? The FAQ doesn't say and I wanna know for flight booking reasons. I'm assuming late morning like Warped?

 

Gates are usually around 11 with the first bands starting around 12.

Sunday's schedule is going to be a nightmare.

 

As long as paramore and jawbreaker don't play at the same time I think it will be fine I don't mind por playing at the same time as either one I saw them last year so I don't mind missing them even tho it would be cool to see what new songs of their new album live

 

Anyone interested on 3 day pass for only 100 USD?

 

I think it's almost guaranteed they'll do the same thing they did last year with the misfits and have jawbreaker play after everyone so that the crowd is bigger and there are no conflicts

The Ataris / The Queers will be playing a pre-show on September 14 at Bottom Lounge. Kris announced it from stage today at Warped Tour.

 

That's awesome. So bummed I'm getting into town that morning or else I'd do that (I'm doing Matchbox 20 the night before).

 

After shows gotta be coming soon, right?

Same here! I think ones I would go to this year are Danzig, Taking Back Sunday, or Streetlight Manifesto.

 

Last year it was 8/16. Maybe they wait until after Lollapalooza to announce the aftershows. I wouldn't complain if they announce them earlier this year though.

 

They seem to be doing everything earlier this year but you're right about Lolla I would expect them the following week

 

I'm anticipating it all coming a bit earlier this year. Except the schedule - That will probably come about the same time. Post-Lolla would make a lot of sense for the aftershow announcements, though.

I'm guessing they'll release the food vendors sometime soon too. Any word on if they're doing Riot Fest Speaks again?

 

Anyone know when Sat/Sun passes might sell out? I just missed the cutoff for payroll at my new gig and I won't get paid till the end of August now lol. Worrying that might be too late.

 

Someone said QOTSA are doing an aftershow at the Metro which would be wild

 

Did you see that on Reddit? Someone had posted that awhile ago there. If it is true, I look forward to not being able to get tickets. Lol.

 

Oh hell yea. That would be unreal (if I can get tickets. I got them for blink so I feel optimistic).

I also think Say Anything might do one. The tour dates for Riot Fest on their website are weird (they have it as the 14th, 15th, and 17th, which seems odd since it should be 15, 16, and 17. Could just be an error... or maybe they're doing 2 aftershows playing half of IDOTG each night (reallyyy stretching here but I can dream). It is the only show they have scheduled, so if they're traveling to Chicago just for Riot Fest, it would make sense to get the full potential out of their time here.

 

I think a lot of bands have the dates messed up on their sites unfortunately because I've thought the same thing about several bands now haha
