So, from the lyrics it sounds like The Mistake is about a pretty violent abortion or miscarriage? Almost done transcribing all the lyrics on genius thanks to Teebs.

Although a "native" knife could refer to a miscarriage as well. The body itself killing the child.

The face one single song doesn't start with "The" is really really annoying me also. Almost as annoying as when bands name their songs after numbers and don't out the track at that number on their album.

 

Apparently there is a reason for this. A couple of the people who have heard the album said that it was a conscious decision to not name this one "The ___"

 

I always thought Apprehension was about that as well.

 

I bet that sounds aMAZEing

As much as we've joked and bickered and discussed I sincerely hope you all enjoy this album very much, especially you @BoldTitan youve definitely staked your claim as the big ManOrch fan on the site so I hope this album continues to grow on you and I'm happy youre finally able to hear it. I hope it was worth the wait. im ken btw, we havent formally met so hi. welcome to the site.

idk if this has leaked yet but im sure it will soon and i hope it becomes a favorite among site posters because its a really great record. hopefully my review gets posted the 28th

 

Listening through the discography this week in preparation. ILAV is such a damn good record.

I've only listened to The Gold and The Alien once a piece, so I am REALLY ready.

It hasn't leaked, I'm glad bc I don't want to get blammed for this ha. I need someone to get a preorder or something and post it. I have no way of even getting it to a digital format been listening on CD players, car and one in my house! The one in my house has a headphone input so I've been enjoying that a ton. Im glad that I'm forced to listen to it on cd bc the production is phenomenal and it's really coming out

 

There are few things in life better than the release of an anticipated album coinciding with a weekend road trip. I have a feeling this album will pair well with the majesty of the Seirra Nevadas.

 

There are few things worse in life than having a preorder coming in the mail, but leaving town from Thursday to Monday.

 

Huh, out of the songs they've released so far, The Gold is the most like their older stuff.

 

Ouch, bummer.

 

Yeah I'm going to be out of town away from the internet all weekend so if this doesn't leak I won't have it until next week. Oh well. A few more days won't kill me.
