  1. Ehhh. I disagree.

There's a higher chance of Yamcha taking down Cell or Majin Buu.

I haven't truly liked anything non-blink that Tom has released in over 10 years so I'd be pretty surprised if he ever releases something I like again. I just think Tom grow out of his blink sound/style and instead was replaced with Bono/spacy stuff and that's really not for me. If people like it that's cool though.

Yeah it's definitely kind of pompous of him. Fingers crossed for a producer clash and switch. Whatever he said about pushing them in the right direction, as much as I liked it, it's not putting out essentially Cali pt 2.

My hope since Mark wants to experiment and emulate Untitled and Feldy is about Catchy singalong songs, is that the two ideas create something epic we haven't considered lol

But only if they're written in 15 minutes?

So far I'm right. He could somehow put something good out again, theoretically. But based on the past 10 years or so, it is incredibly unlikely. There is a better chance he will prove aliens truly exist and interview one on tv than it is that he will put out a great album.

Well that wouldn't go with Marks hope of more thought out. I think he has more say than Feldy

  9. Dogs Eating Dogs has 3ish great songs on it, but other than that, his music has been incredibly hit or miss. It's a song by song basis.

I don't think Tom has a legitimately awesome song in him anymore.
Since DED his music has been get-through-half-a-song-before-I-shut-it-off or miss.

I'm sort of kidding. Was Dream Walker after DED? I like Anomaly. And I think two other songs. And even then the production on that album makes me not want to listen to it.

If someone took all the songs from Tom/AVA since iEmpire and then made up completely fake song names and put them on a list I think I would maybe get 10 songs right with what album they belonged to. Hell even if you took out fake song names I don't think I'd get 30% right and I'm someone that use to pride myself on being able to list each blink song/blink side project album in order.

As much as I want them to experiment more it makes me a little nervous for it, especially if Feldy is going to be involved. I like the experimentation in LA and BOTO, but I wont be asking for an entire album full of that pop/electro experimentation.

I even think songs like Misery, Hey Im Sorry, San Diego, Good Old Days, and Don't Mean Anything Mean are good, but I feel like they're basically the same song structurally. Slow intro, slow/deeper vocals in verses, a mid-tempo anthemic chorus, and slower/longer bridges. I see why Mark said some songs just sounded the same so they didn't put them on the initial CA release.

I think its time for them to go darker, faster, and harder like they do in 6/8 and Cynical. That Self-Titled sound but upgraded....maybe with a little Mike Shinoda influence if they want good experimentation to fill out empty spaces in songs instead of Feldy's whoa's/na na's and cheap sounding electro-beats. That little 30 minute song-writing clinic Mike and Mark did was pretty cool.
