it's basically why I bug my cousins/brothers to always cover the walls because people forget them.

 

There have been plenty of times when I thought a match was super close looking at the map and it ended up being 50-35 or something

Walls don't count and I think certain platforms don't count. Also if there is free space left it makes it harder for you to see how the percentages will actually turn out, but it is definitely accurate.

 

So from my understanding you have separate rank for each game mode, is that accurate?

I'm struggling between trying to look good in game or wear the best gear for stats.

 

Almost to level 10 and then I can go get wrecked in ranked.

 

Most of my ranked games have been fairly close so far, except for the times when one or both teams have no idea how to play the game mode.

 

Headphones in the Splatoon app have 4 slots if anyone is looking into getting that serious heat.

They cost 13k.

 

I just bought those actually, haha. Mostly because they're headphones and better than the ones I was wearing before.

 

That's so cool, my rank would always drop drastically playing Rainmaker. I've always sucked at that mode for some reason.

 

Man I must be really bad at Arms haha. I was at a friend's house last night and just getting annihilated every single against people who play a lot of video games and people who don't really at all

 

I only played the the test fire thing, but that game seems like it has a pretty steep mastery curve. I want to dive in, because it's fun as hell, bit Splatoon is my life right now.

Won my second attempt at a first ranked match. Close game though.

 

Hoping my connection gets better later. I'm lagging behind! Didnt have this issue in MK8 either.

Okay def farming for that. Barely reached 6. After a string of losses (our team had no chemistry at all) it feels good to have a satisfying victory - I was the one holding off assailants at the center of the map and I did some good defense when friendlies were jumping on my location

How are points awarded? Does the top 2 players of each team get more rewards?

 

I've been grinding out the 4 slots for my headphones and they've all been disappointing and what a bummer.
