That's probably one of the worst songs of all time so I definitely agree with this

 

Sheryl Crow is somehow still one of the most underrated artists of the '90s and I'm going to credit it to sexism. Any dude makes 3 albums as good as Tuesday Night Music Club, The Globe Sessions and ESPECIALLY Sheryl Crow, and he's treated like a god for the rest of his career.

 

I really like Tuesday Night Music Club when I was younger (like really young) but I haven't listended to any of her stuff in a long time. I should go revisit that album, plus her other stuff, I think I'd really enjoy a lot of it now my musical tastes have matured.

 

Don't know if I've ever heard a Sheryl Crow song. I'm sure I've encountered one on the radio but have never gone out of my way to listen to her music. Will do some investigating this weekend.

 

I'm pretty convinced most people don't know this song exists, or she would be a lot more lionized.

 

If It Makes You Happy is one of my favorite songs ever and I've been listening to it a lot lately, so I've been meaning to give a full album a listen.

 

I don't think I've ever gone out of my way to listen to a Sheryl Crow song.

 

I mean, hell, "If It Makes You Happy" is an all-timer, and that was a hit! I think she got reduced, like a lot of women do/did, to her celebrity with the Lance Armstrong relationship and the kinda dopey environmentalism

 

That album is stupid-good. A truly unique record.

On another (probably more unpopular) note, I've recently realized that I have a real soft spot for Sugar Ray. I doubt I'll ever give a full album of theirs a chance but I can't tell you how many times I've cycled through When It's Over, Every Morning, and Someday recently.

Sheryl Crow has the misfortune of reminding me of my mother so i dont go out of my way to listen to her but i don't like hate her songs. Just unfortunate association lol

Sheryl Crow kicked fucking ASS live. Just saw her a couple weekends ago with Dylan/Nelson/Isbell

On another note, I'm jamming her self-titled record this afternoon in honor of this thread.

 

I don't like Sheryl Crow and think there are much less successful, much better artists whose notoriety we should be concerned about.

I guess that's my unpopular opinion.

 

Is it unpopular to say Humble. is awful? I don't normally listen to the radio, but when I was in LA for 4 days my friends only listened to the R&B, Hip Hop radio and they played the same 7 songs over and over and over and over, and Humble and the Migos songs were just so bad. It doesn't seem to be about the lyrics anymore, just about the noises and beats.
