Agree completely with this. When we first got started in this league, it couldn't have been a better community and there was no shot of anybody leaving.

Agreed man, I think we need to bury all of the hatchets and just start fresh. Everyone has fucked up in one way or another in this league, just time to get back to playing madden and talking shit

Yeah we have all fucked up. Some of us have missed game times, others have simmed drafts intentionally, but it is all the same in the end. Usually the people that want to bury the hatchets in the past are the ones that fucked up the most though.

 

Can't tell if you have a grudge on me for shits and giggles or because I was always in your division and never let you get into the playoffs when the league was healthy

Well I know you were in the league year 1 of the new one when I won it all, so losses in the past don't bother me.

The problem I have with you was your disappeared from the newly created league, and we were all 99% sure you simmed the draft and advanced the league so we had to strip the commish powers from you. Then you came back, promised not to disappear, then disappeared a few days later and then we had to kick you from the league chat.

 

I didn't sim shit, and you guys wouldn't have that league if it wasn't for me. I got that ball rolling, you're welcome.

 

I am pretty sure I recruited Z to our league, so you wouldn't have had a chance to start a new league if he didn't join here, so you're welcome.

I'll join up here even if it is in a non-leadership role. There are several guys who don't want to come and would prefer that I keep running the GroupMe one. I will probably end up cutting some of the young guys once '18 comes out. Plus a lot of the guys are in our FIFA league and I have plans for the new games to add some immersion into the madden league.

Like I said, I will play in both but only have time to do the extra stuff for the GroupMe just because that will be madden and FIFA. And possibly WWE if we get that rolling again

I don't see why the people who want to can't just play in both if you guys are deadset on jumping over here, and then everyone gets what they want

 

I have no issue with that if people want to play in both. We used to have a rule against that a long time ago when this league was at its peak...but don't think that's really necessary now.

 

You guys thinking of returning to the 60 hour advance period as well?

 

I haven't really thought too much about that yet....I just started gauging interest this morning. I think once we get 24 teams committed then we can start talking about all of that. I think we may start with the original 72 though for the first season and see how it goes.
