After some quick reading, Trent Kirchner is my preferred option for new GM.

Wish they would've locked up Bell. But I'm not sure they could have reasonably done it at what he was probably demanding.

 

The thing adam schefter said on ESPN today was they were talking for awhile but NFLPA started putting a lottt of pressure on bell to ensure he got a big, long term deal to make them look good. Which is, ridiculous. It's their job to do literally make sure the players get better and more guaranteed deals, they're a joke and need new leadership pretty bad. They negotiated this bad deal during the lockout in the first place and need to do it again to get a better one. That being said, I'm sure he won't be leaving... unless Conner is like suddenly a monster and even then bell still should be paid by them.

 

Bruce Allen calling Kirk Cousins "Kurt" multiple times is hilarious.

Bell holding out for that guaranteed money. Don't blame either side for not coming to an agreement here. Let Bell bet on himself and prove he should get more guaranteed.

 

Welp. Even if the guarantees weren't what he wanted, the fact that they were willing to pay so much and he turned them down isnt a great sign overall.

Ezekiel Elliott is. Not sure what the numbers are at the moment but being picked 4th got him the biggest RB contract, I think it's still above Fournettes this year
