Pandorum is such an underrated sci-fi flick. Plus..you can't really go wrong with Ben Foster.

The rest of those are good though!

 

yeah it just didn't gel into a good enough story. some great bits (like the phone convo with the dad) and decent scares but wasn't able to pull together a meaningful sense of weight or history

 

watching 976-evil and got SO excited when I realized that hoax is evil ed from fright night

 

evil ed is also a comedy slasher about a horror movie editor, wonder if that's referential

 

Tobe Hooper Pretended to Direct 'Poltergeist' for Steven Spielberg! - Bloody Disgusting

This really doesn't surprise me. Poltergeist is such a masterpiece that, in my eyes, should've made Hooper a household name. I always wondered why he never did anything big after Poltergeist...it makes sense now.

 

finally watched Blackcoat's Daughter - don't know that I picked up on everything but was pretty riveted either way, definitely liked it.
Watched Darling again last night, brilliant film and Keating is an incredible director

What did everyone think of Rob Zombie's "31"? I felt let down the first time around when it came out. I really want to see the "Zombie Cut" if thats out there. Probably going to rewatch it soon.

 

Very let down

 

Watched the Fright Night remake last night, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Need to revisit the originals since it's been forever.

 

I have a 5-day vacation coming up, will probably catch up on some things - The Wailing, Evil Dead series, Green Room and Conjuring are what I have my sights on.

 

Evil Dead series for the win.

 

Just watch the ED movies and Green Room.

 

I love Green Room -- I might watch it again tonight.
