DBZ Abridged is arguably the best version of DBZ. It's a fan-made parody of the show that keeps the episodes to <15min in length and gives you an accurate portrayal of how the characters come off in the actual show. Has a lot of inside jokes/nods to things outside of DBZ, too. Look up Team Four Star on YouTube, or go to their website to watch them.

 

I love abridged, but only someone who has seen the show will get the humor of it. Or at least the majority of it. It's a disservice to the great strength the warriors of TFS are to watch it and not understand it's power.

He's right. I made the mistake of showing some friends abridged who hadn't seen the show and I had to explain countless things to them. Then when they watched the show they got the jokes.
