    Things have changed.

I have no idea who any of those people are, but they likely did not cross paths any more than they would on a normal day, given there's 30 minutes in between bands on a given stage.

Just got back from Hartford, and fuck what a day.
Didn't get there till 230 cuz of work but I walked into the Mutant Zone just as blessthefall was playing. Always love seem BTF, and the boys know how to put on a show. Ran into Beau later when watching Beartooth and he took the goofiest selfie ever with me.
Stuck around the Mutant zone for Hatebreed and fuck the crowd was MASSIVE. But I shouldn't have expected anything less for a hometown show for them. They had a crazy circle pit going around the soundboard. They sounded amazing and I loved it.
After them I saw Alestorm and DO NOT SLEEP ON THEM. They were funny as shit and really brought the party to warped. They were goofy as hell and their fans were all dressed as pirates and it was literally golly good time. Make every effort to see these guys if you wanna party hard.
I still don't know why they put the Journeys Left in the amphitheater but it made it hard to see Beartooth and CKY. CKY sounded great, the crowd was having a good time
But I think Chad needs to step up the frontman game a bit, still were awesome.
After that I sprinted to the Right stage to see Beartooth who easily had the biggest crowd of the day(maybe tied with Neck Deep and GWAR). Caleb sounded SUPERB and the crowd was probably the gnarliest I've ever seen at a Beartooth show yet. I could've listened to them for hours.
Anti-Flag had a small, but loyal crowd in the amphitheater closing the Hard Rock stage and they were very heartfelt in their speeches. Some asshole tried to start a fight during Die For Your Government and Pat and Chris #2 stopped mid song and tried to jump in the pit with security to take the asshole out. Great set and great guys.
Finally it was time for the mighty GWAR. Kevin putting GWAR on warped this year was probably the coolest thing in the 8 years I've been going. I'm still scrubbing blood off me right now. I just wish they would give GWAR a longer set time. It was amazing and the best way to end the night being shot with the cold "blood".
Overall, I think the attendance was much the same, if not a little bigger thisnyear than I've seen in some years. People that keep saying that warped is going downhill or in it's final years are sadly mistaken. From what I saw today the tour is live and well.
Also shoutout to @thisisnotbrianm even though our schedules didnt match throughout the day it was nice to finally meet a fellow member of chorus.fm and chat, hopefully we can more on Wednesday and see some bands together.
Now if you all excuse me I still have blood to clean off and work in six hours. Have a good night everyone!

Silverstein posted a video of Beefcake from GWAR playing Retrograde with them. That is so cool.

Warped yesterday was fun only thing I hated was running from nyd left foot to American authors right foot I missed a few songs but other then that saw movements courage my love Hawthorne heights Jule Vera and caught like 2 songs of hands like houses. Over all was great day had VIP and got to talk to and meet the bands I saw today again plus they all remembered me. After hh set jt came up to me and handed me the set list. Also was walking around wearing a Jule Vera set time poster n in morning carrying a nyd sign. I got 4 drumsticks and a piece of Jule Vera's cymbal cuz he broke it.

Also, if anyone has time seriously check out The White Noise. I had never heard of them till yesterday, they're entire set and stage presence was phenomenal

Not sure if it's the best thread for it but thoughts on Lee Corey Oswald's latest post about this tour and Lyman?

Not surprised and the band has every right to feel the way they do given Kevin's responses to certain situations. Honestly think Kevin should have thought more before offering a band like War on Women a spot on the tour while asking old, misogynistic, gutter punk has beens like The Dickies to be on the tour. War On Women exists very much as a protest to this kind of shit that The Dickies have been doing for decades.

    Full Set:

    Knocked Loose
    GWAR

I had a few friends on the tour this year so I saw a decent chunk of bands while hanging out at their tents (Andy Black, War on Women, William Control, etc.)

    Favorite Sets:
    - Movements: They made that stage have the passion and intensity of a small club show. It was truly magical and the crowd was a lot of fun
    - GWAR is truly a spectacle that cannot be missed.

    Least Favorite Sets:
    - Attila: Saw them while relaxing in the amphitheater and it was just very, very bad.
    - War on Women: I feel really bad because I really love what they're doing activism-wise on the tour / working to make Warped a safer place, and they were all such cool people, but their set was not for me.

    Notes:
    - They put Journey's Left and Hard Rock in the amphitheater. Hartford has NEVER had a main stage in the amphitheater. They're trying to do that to prevent people camping out, but with the way the layout was, if you wanted to see bands back to back on Left and Right, you had to leave like 2 songs early and BOOK IT to get to the other stage.
    - Watching Attila in an amphitheater was a trip. Their fans filled the whole pit area and the aisles surrounding it (and even moshed in the aisles of the venue and in front of the Hard Rock stage). People were crowdsurfing over seats and through the aisles.
    - Watch GWAR. Don't even question it.
    - Knocked Loose had a few guest vocalists come out, including Patrick from Movements and Brendan from Counterparts. I think they might have had an off day though, they didn't sound the greatest, but their crowd was HUGE, especially for Full Sail. Saw a few people get removed from the pit either puking / bleeding / fighting etc. I like their music but can't understand how a band can watch that happen and not speak up about their fans hurting other fans (and please don't give me anything about "that's how hardcore is" I'm not trying to argue on here)
    - Boston Manor had a really fun crowd and everyone was SUPER into them. Probably my favorite crowd of the day.
    - Really dug Small Talks on Skullcandy. If you have a chance, check them out! Female fronted, had a new wave emo kind-of vibe, for lack of a better descriptor (FFO A Will Away etc.)

Had fun, but it definitely was a lot slower than most other Warped's I've been to, plus my interest in the bands on the lineup was a lot lower than last year's. It seemed like there were a lot of bands I liked this year, but not ones I loved. Still glad I went though, and I'm excited to go again in Mansfield on Wednesday.

Also excited I got to meet up with @CTFFEMT93 and @redwing91007 during the day. Always fun meeting people from this site.

If you're going in Massachusetts, hit me up and come say hi at the show!

Still deciding between Milwaukee and Chicago. Never been to Warped in Milwaukee, but I'm interested in trying it out. I saw a few people on here had said they preferred the Milwaukee venue, but I didn't see much about what makes it better. Care to share?

Also, is there a cost for parking?

You do realize The Dickies normally play in front of 40 - 50 year olds, right? The same 40 year olds that grew up watching them do wild antics on stage for years. The same ones who will bring their kids to see them and say, "Here's some real punk rock, not some Warped Tour bullshit." The same people, both male and female, who are saying that this society should grow a pair because of their disgust over his words.

I couldn't imagine a band like Mindless Self Indulgence being on Warped Tour because there would probably be a witch hunt on them by these "SJWs". Jimmy has been known for saying wild stuff to the crowd every night. At the same time, MSI have the kind of crowd, much like The Dickies, that know it's part of the show.

I have tickets to today's VA Beach date but hurt my foot yesterday.

I'm on crutches and have decided to skip the show so my foot can heal and I don't end up missing a lot of work (last time I pulled this muscle I was out of work for a week).

I am heartbroken that I'm going to miss Candiria.

Okay, I think I have my top 6 down

    1. Silverstein
    2. Dance Gavin Dance
    3. Too Close To Touch
    4. Neck Deep
    5. Andy Black
    6. blessthefall (or Boson Manor)

I really wanna put Creeper in there, but I wouldn't mind waiting till I can see them in a smaller venue if they conflicted with another band

So has Beartooth been playing in the amphitheater most days? That would be a total killer for me. I remember in 2015 August Burns Red played in the amphitheater and I left 3 songs in. Couldn't even get to the pit area because it was filled up past the aisles. I'm sure Beartooth would be even worse.

What are the chances of them putting a main stage in the amphitheater in holmdel? Seems like a common trend this year, and that would absolutely kill me since I couldn't get in the pit area for dance Gavin dance on Friday

I'm guessing very slim since there isn't a small pit in the amphitheater. Personally, I'd love it since the press area is to the left of the stage. I hated running from an interview to catch a mainstage band haha

Bands will start at 12:30 also I believe. Warped doors/start times are usually pretty much the same.

Gotcha! I'll get there around 12 then. I feel like every year a band I want to see plays first
