Uhhhh The Moth is incredible. I'm totally on board with these three songs so far and the direction in general. Definitely seems to be shaping up to something special.

The Moth is possibly the best song in their catalog. I'm not being hyperbolic. This song is already in contention for my favorite of theirs.

 

Yeah this rules

 

Like this is hyping me up so much. Feels like the first time I heard Pride, or when I first heard Virgin leading up to Simple Math. Or the first time I heard Sowing Season.

 

Last 45 seconds of the moth are sooo good.
This should release digitally this Friday. I don't want to wait.

This list is most likely going to be pretty different once I get to hear the rest of the album. I am already tempted to put "The Alien" in here somewhere. I know it's early, but I have nearly 40 plays on that song already and I'm not slowing down. The last song from Andy that grabbed me the same way was "Blame" and it is easily one of my favorite songs ever.

The Moth is fantastic though. I can't wait for the 28th!

Still think the songwriting on cope is fantastic despite it being a very one note record

 

I wish I liked METN as much as I like shake it out and pride, those songs are fucking killer

 

i know its a BB song but can we take a moment to appreciate how beautifully heartbreaking Andys performance on "Pyotr" is

Probably my favorite BB song honestly. And I really really like the majority of them.

 

One of the first nights out with my fiancée we listened to pyotr, we were talking about songs with historic back stories. We went and saw Manchester with kevin devine a few months later and have been hooked together since

 

I feel like It's OK with Me is an extremely underrated Manchester Orchestra song.

 

And yeah, Pyotr is an amazing, haunting song. One of my all-time favorites.

 

Hard to imagine when it's all said and done the silence not making my top 10
