its since been bettered. I do wish shed turn down her sensitivities sometimes though lol. sometimes it really feels cus shes been the bad guy so often in our past that whenever I even slip slightly a bit ima catch the heat I never did prior cus her sins were always bigger than mine (not even in the same spectrum - mine were sins of coping with hers too lol). we sorted out the past stuff - needless to say we both needed to grow in our own ways, its what fueled us breaking up for a few years, but I do see that lil hang on still sometimes lol.
like now that we're on a more equal playing field she kinda over does her moods when she has em with me almost as if to make up for lost time. the one thing she knows she still has to work on.

I have no issue owning when I fuck up, but some of the things (like this) are the "are we really doing this?" realm of things, and no one likes that, man or woman lol.

 

Deleted my Tinder. It was a fun experiment but it's not for me. I have much better luck meeting people the old fashioned way.

Like, I totally get it and I'm glad it works for some people but I just do not enjoy the format. I have so much more fun meeting girls at parties or bars...stuff like that

 

Tinder was fun when it first started in my experience. Got a random hookup out of it, so I like to think it was successful. Now I'm just bored on there. Or maybe I just too lazy to try for a hookup again haha.

If every party was a masquerade party, I don't think I would be on this site right now.

 

Still find it very strange that I see my gf every day since we work together. Different departments but the company is like 35 people so we pass each other a lot. Don't think a day hasn't gone by where my first split second reaction isn't, "oh shit what are you doing here someone help!" Before remembering she works here too.

Yeah, but in kind of a Jim/Pam The Office way. Sometimes we'll be on teams for a project together but otherwise it's just me requesting a report or info from her or vice versa.

Was nervous about ever having anything with a coworker, especially since I value alone time and space more than most, but this has worked out well. We'll address at the start of the day if we're getting lunch or not, nothing's implied. No awkwardness or "do I need to stop and talk to her now because it's been an hour since our last email / conversation?!"

Although it has only been like two weeks so maybe a month from now I'll hate everything.

 

Never really seen The Office so don't get that reference but that makes sense what you're saying.

Sounds like things are going well two weeks in so that's awesome. It definitely takes particular personalities to work together and be able to date for sure. My wife and I practically lived together from day one so we were definitely not the type to have alone time or really take things slow, but like I said people are definitely different. If that works by all means! Hope the best for y'all

Yeah, she's really thrown me for a loop with how well we gel. Usually by now I'm pretty bored of people and / or they're sick of me and somehow it's working and not the case here. Maybe it's just getting old and not over thinking things like I used to, but so far it's been an unexpected delight.

 

The Office seasons 1-3 are absolute classics. The ending of season 3 could have been the perfect end for the series imo

 

The Office for me is one of those shows that I only enjoy in small clips as opposed to full episodes tbh.

Also, unexpected relationships are definitely some of the best, I think. I wasn't searching for a gf at the time and actually had a gf before I broke up with her to date my future wife.

I was at a DSA social tonight and was pulled to the side by one of the co-chairs and she asked if I was single and I said "oh yeah, I'm what you'd call super single. And she said that one of the girls who was at the last social was asking about me but wasn't able to be there tonight and she said that I should message her.
