The Timberwolves would go on to win the title that year, and Warriors would finally be broken up the following year, but the showdown set up the young Kings team for what would be many deep playoff runs in the early 20's, culminating in their own championship a few years later.

I know he's gone after this year but I feel like giving up Bradley would be a mistake for Boston unless Jaylen Brown is suddenly a great defender

 

I don't have any reason to think jaylen brown can't be a pretty good defender but Avery Bradley is really, really good. I don't think a team would trade for him unless they think he'll stay or they're close to winning a title.

 

Brown definitely has the ability to become a good defender but it's a tough task to get to Bradley's level, especially for a 21 year old

Is there a way the Celtics could create room without trading Bradley? I would keep him over Isaiah, honestly but they didn't take fultz so...

Trade crowder, rozier or Smart.

Crowder brings the most back since he can be a starter and is on a very low cost contract for a couple years. Avery and Smart are both expiring. Ideally, I give up Crowder or Smart and keep Bradley and Rozier.

 

Being from Wisconsin, I wish the Bucks and Giannis all the best, but this type of tweet worries me. He's super young and super good and in 5-6 years if he does leave because management fucks up or because a team offers him a ridiculous amount that he can't say no too, people will pull up this tweet and tear him apart as if no other sports star has ever gone back on a statement about staying with a team.
