Secrets have an announcement tomorrow. Could be an album and/or tour.

 

A week or so ago I said something about Carnifex's guitar player alluding to a Nov/Dec tour possibly with The Acacia Strain. Well Shawn (Carnifex drummer) commented on an Instagram post of Aaron Stecahuner's (Rings of Saturn drummer) saying something about how Nov/Dec is going to be sick. So looks like definitely a Carnifex/RoS tour possibly with TAS in Nov/Dec.

 

I saw RoS with Carnifex earlier this year and didn't find them interesting at all live. Cool on record, but otherwise, meh. They were better back when I saw them with Decapitated and had their old vocalist still.

 

Saw them on the same tour and absolutely agree. Seemed like a lot of the set was just Lucas pushing a button on a laptop and the rest of the band going through the motions. Crowd ate that set up though, I was really bored though. But if Carnifex is on the bill I am there no questions asked.

 

Slaves/Secrets/Picturesque

Secrets and Picturesque sounds fun, could not give any less of a fuck about Slaves though.

 

Picturesque has to be in the top 5 worst live bands I've seen in the last few years

Maybe it was an off night? The singer was WAY off the entire time, made it unbearable. I left. It was too bad too because I was jamming hard to some of their songs before that show. This was on the Our Last Night / Palisades / Hail The Sun / Picturesque tour in 2015 btw, hopefully they have gotten better.

 

Taking Back Sunday is a wee bit out of place here

 

I'm assuming they'll play the main stage with the first 5 acts. Would be hilarious if they were stuck between Hatebreed and CC.

 

The Menzingers are opening the Toronto date of the Descendents fall tour - couldn't be more excited.

 

Montreal too, may have to pull the trigger now

 

People on Facebook are bitching about how shitty of a lineup knotfest has and no slipknot. People need to learn how to use google and search shit before the bitch. Cory came out a few days ago saying slipknot wouldn't be playing and they are done touring for at least 2 years or a year and a half while he dose stone sour and everyone else dose their own thing

 

I got an email saying the Rise Against/PTV concert in Norfolk was cancelled. Anyone else going to a date of that tour with this issue? Can't find anything about it online.

I seriously don't know what I have to do to get the Menzingers to do a show in Portland or Seattle lately.

So insanely jealous. We got FrnkIero which is a bit of dissapointment when other dates got Suicide Machines, Less Than Jake and Menz

 

Yeah we definitely got lucky. Any idea if there will be a local opener playing these shows as well? Would love to see Dirty Nil or PKEW PKEW PKEW open if they're in town.
