These first two summer league games are definitely turning me into a Tatum fan.

I think a lot of people forget that when his rookie contract was up, the Jazz didn't want to fork over what he was asking for and it took Charlotte to sign him to an offer sheet for the Jazz to pay him. It's not like it was a flawless experience for him in Utah. Not that I think he held that against the organization, but it baffles me how Hayward is getting shit. What all star player can leave their team nowadays without getting hated on? Why is it fine to play fantasy GM and trade these guys in various scenarios, but when a player wants to leave a team he is vilified?

It's not like Boston is a huge NBA market that pilfers star players from small markets. Before Horford last year, I'm not even sure who their best FA signing in history was. For decades the Celtics couldn't sign a free agent.

And to comment on Boston being a place where draft picks go to die: Avery Bradley, Marcus Smart, Kelly Olynyk and Jaylen Brown all got solid minutes last year. The guys that are "buried" (Jordan Mickey, Demetrius Jackson) were 2nd round picks. 2ndround picks are lucky to even make a roster. The only person that is potentially buried is Terry Rozier.

Fultz just air balled an open three,
Trade a disaster. Process ruined. Sad!

Donovan Mitchell has a real knack for steals that has translated thus far from college to summer league. Wonder if that will continue to carry over with real competition

I'm hoping Nick Young is just an absolute cancer on the Warriors that tears their team a part. Wishful thinking.

Literally no one thinks he's a godsend. Every conversation i've had with people here is "Sweet! We got a really good player! How's Tatum and Brown looking in Summer League?"
