Wow making a move on your childhood friends very Christian mom sounds like one of the dumbest things anyone could do and I didn't think you would actually do it but it sounds like it could've gone much worse so

I first met said mom in 4th grade. Her son and I went to school together and quickly became friends but then the following year we both went to different schools and lost contact.

8th grade starts and it turns out we are both gong to the same private Christian school. We hit it off and I find out he lives less than 5 minutes away and we hang out ALL THE TIME. It was then that I began to find him mom attractive. We would hang out almost everyday and our friendship continued until about senior year but then it just kinda died out. Nothin major happened, no big falling out, we just drifted apart.

Cut to: not that long ago at work I see his mom for the first time in years and I was like, "hey....Lynn??" And she looked at me with a puzzled expression and finally was like, "oh my god! James! Wow you grew up to be such a handsome man!" I explained to her how I'm moving to L.A. soon and she goes, "Oh I'm there all the time. Next time we're there at the same time I'd love to take you out to dinner and get a drink" and I was like, "well, I won't be moving for a little over a month, we can get drinks before I leave" and she agreed and we exchange numbers.

Side note: as mentioned in a previous post, I see her at work all the time and everytime I do she is usually a little bit tipsy and so touchy feely. Like the other day she snuck up on me and all the sudden I feel someone rubbing my lower back, in my opinion, very sensually. It was definitely not the way I'd go about getting someone's attention unless I was like "yo we fuckin". Also there are so many people at work who are like, "dude who is that??? She clearly wants the D".

Anyways, I'd say we text fairly regularly and just about whatever. She's incredibly easy to talk to. She's texted me multiple times trying to make plans to get drinks but everytime I've been busy. Last night we were texting and she was telling me about her house and she was like, "you want to come over for a drink later" (no question mark) and I agreed. And I suggested a time and asked if it worked and and she was like, "sure. You have the address" and the rest is Chorus.fm history.

Edit: I forgot to mention that she has mentioned to me multiple times how she is divorced and loves being single
