I think that was just happy to be back messing about. If you watch any of the clips from touring in 2004, now that is awkward banter!

 

I just can't wait until a week from now...when we will have heard the new song and will hopefully have some tour dates and album info.

I know it sounds so silly, but I was so invested in the band during that time that I've never really been able to bring myself to watch those videos, haha. Just reminds me of how bummed I was when they went on hiatus, and how bad things were for them.

Jeez. Those videos are disorienting. Reckless Abandon was so fast that I couldn't even sing along accurately.

Right!!! like he's just yelling noises lol i also just noticed how mean they are to each other in the beginning of Reckless Abandon, like it doesn't even sound like joking in that vid, it bums me the fuck out actually

 

I might be in the minority here who actually misses 2004 blink, haha. I have fond memories of that time.

This reminds me, does anyone have any decent quality audio from the 2004 tour? Heavily interested in a full live clear audio of that tour.

Also, if anyone knows where I could find a decent quality bootleg of the Untitled Anniversary shows, that would be amazing.

Tom was just blurting things out, but to be fair, they all should have made the decision to slow the songs down. Playing them that fast was not going to lend itself well to singing clearly.

I wonder what his deal was back then because it seemed like he was fine shortly before that. Maybe all those pain pills he used to talk about had something to do with it.
