Damnit. Does this mean stuff ain't ending until like 10? MN ain't as hot as the rest of the country and date is over 3 weeks away. ?

 

This came out last time and they buried it. I remember reading this exact post. It's why me and a few others always bring up the allegations whenever this fucking band gets brought up.

 

Got an email from Warped about the new door times:

"UPDATED DOOR TIMES
It's going to be a hot one and we are going to do our best to help you beat the heat!
We decided to push the door times back to 12:30 pm to counteract the rising temperatures in your area (and help you get a little extra sleep).
Here is what you can do to stay hydrated before and during the show:

• drink lots of water leading up the show
• eat a big dinner the night before the show
• don't skip out on breakfast (it's the most important meal of the day for a reason)
• you can bring sealed bottles of water to the show
• Cool Gear is hosting a FREE water refill station during the show
• remember to eat during the show - you WILL get dehydrated if you don't eat AND drink water
• bring a refillable water bottle and / or a camelbak
• we're adding more on-site water misting stations
• take a break and use our extra shade tents

Your health and safety are our first priority if you start to feel dehydrated please contact a staff member so we can get you to the medical tent and treated.

According to the Facebook event page for Scranton, dates starting at 12:30 will run until around 10PM.

 

I wonder why the Pittsburgh date isn't pushed back. The main stages are pretty much in a parking lot.

 

Lmao at the "don't heckle bands if you can't handle the response" hashtag. They should have added "don't get so defensive when the crowd calls you out on your bullshit"

 

Did anyone go and see The Fantastic Plastics set at their date? Just saw a photo of their crowd today on the Warped Facebook and yikes... They look like they're playing to literally 2 people.

 

I went to the Salem date, walked past their set while I was leaving, they didn't have a very big crowd at all.

 

These accusations are 2 years old and were addressed.

 

Another show in NC popped up. This lineup is STACKED.

Did anyone figure out what the hell "World's Largest Amp (American Authors)" was that closed out the Full Sail Stage tonight? I left way before this was to happen.

Creeper, Movements and Knocked Loose.

 

Boston Manor and The White Noise as well.

 

All of these NC off-shows are so cool, but it'd suck so much to have to pick between them.

 

Also, Travis Clark of We the Kings played a surprise set on that big amp today.

Might have to switch it up this year and go to Holmdel instead of Camden. How is Warped in Holmdel?

 

I just checked projected forecast for 7"/23 dateit:s suppose to be cloudy high 79, low 59. That's comfortable. When i went in bo 2014 and 2015 both times it was in the 90's. No push back of doors then. Anyone else get the feeling this has nothing to do with heat?

 

It's not too bad. Get there early though since the line goes all the way past the big hill. Parking sucks over there since it takes up half the parking lot and the amphitheater so park in the woods and walk. Other than that, depending on how fast you walk, you can make it across the entire complex in 5-7 minutes. If you're looking at the box office, the main stages are across from each other on the left hand side. The heavier stages are to the right of the box office by the big hill. I'm going to guess the Skullcandy and Hard Rock will be in the amphitheater and I'm not sure where they'll put the Full Sail stage.

 

Just bought my ticket.. shit is going to be wild. Partially scared, partially stoked.

 

What stages will be in the amphitheatres this year?
