So tell me something awesome Supporter

It's so universal too. The style chosen for it was perfect for Gerudo Valley, but that arrangement can be played in just about any style and still sound excellent.

Depends on what is wrong with the game (something engine related isn't going to get fixed or design philosophy massively changed) and if it's truly a "beta", we all know a good majority of betas released nowadays are glorified demos, used to hype up the product instead of playtesting, the most information they'll process in these cases is determining how many players will likely be playing the game at launch to maintain a correct number of servers

It's Gears. It already has a following and doesn't need "hype".

It absolutely does given it's been 5 years since a mainline Gears game, Judgement's release in 2013 had a mixed reception and it was hard to make out the direction of the series based on what they showed at E3 last year.

I am sure they will be fine.

That seems like a valid reason to not enjoy MP. Fair enough.

Sure they'll be fine, they are a first party AAA Xbox One title, but these tentpole games have to move massive units to fund other first-party endeavors. Lukewarm beta reception isn't going to lead to blockbuster numbers.

Silly to handwave away any criticism of a game just because it's release is handful of months away, certainly doesn't change the critique here in the now if they do address it down the line, and again, given how numerous betas have operated in the past few years there is no real barometer to be confident that'll be the case.

Extremely. I ran out of ammo for everything.

In regards to the gameplay though, it did feel a bit choppy. Each game I played, the movement felt clunky. Also, it was very similar to the multiplayer in the first game where everyone just ran around with shotguns and didn't bother to use any of the other weapons.

NMS can go one of two ways, either it's flat out amazing or thoroughly mediocre. I do feel like there is more to the game than the Devs are showcasing in regards to story.

Yeah, unfortunately Gears turns into a shotgun fest a majority of the time. I did not experience the choppiness but I know others that did.

Shotgun fest was definitely the experience in Gears 1, roll and blast baby, roll and blast.

    In blizzard related news.

Blizzard on Cancelled Titan MMO: "We Failed Horrifically"

GameSpot will be publishing a series delving into the creation of Overwatch, which is Blizzard's first new IP in 17 years. Over the course of three episodes, Danny O'Dwyer talks to key developers about the inception of Overwatch, further explores the failed Titan project, and discusses how the team is channelling classic online shooters. Watch episode one above.

Color me very interested in all of the talk around the Titan project, (Hell let's get a full length documentary focused solely on that, I'm sure it'd be fascinating).

edit: First video is already up.

I'm somewhat skeptical of Overwatch in regards to the console versions. I'm sure the PC version will be great. Are they all working on all platforms or is it a smaller team workin on the PS4/X1 version?

Blizzard ports tend to be pretty great experiences, they certain did a lot of retooling for Diablo 3 on consoles and it seems like those are generally well received titles.

The fact that it's a competitive shooter should make the console development even easier.

Ok so from those previews it seems the only difference is going to be the resolution which is to be expected. Stoked again.

The Diablo 3 port on consoles is really, really great. I have no worries for the Overwatch port.
