WAIT A MINuTE IT SAYS STAR FOX 2!!!!!!!

 

That's probably the coolest part of this, finally some sort of official release of Star Fox 2.

 

This, for no real reason, makes me believe in a Mother 3 localization

 

The entire thread including me just made a giant sigh of relief hahaha

 

Does the Switch have NES/SNES, etc. games on it like the Wii did?

 

Would you guys be mad again if someone said it was also the last good one?

Although, this is really cool, I have to agree with some of the other comments going around that if they do ending up bringing these games to The Switch, a lot of people are going to be pretty upset.

 

Yoshi's island speed runs are fun to watch.

 

I think these are meant for different audiences.

 

How so?

 

I think people are drawn the fact it's an actual mini SNES

 

To an extent I agree but at the same time, a lot of people that would buy this are the same people that would buy them on The Switch.

 

It is for people who don't regularly play games. They are not spending 300 or more on a console and then 60 dollars per game. As I mentioned in the other thread, I would love to get this for my parents, who played SNES games that I had as a kid but never moved beyond it.

 

It's a novelty item partly meant for people that don't even want a Switch. I mean they have been selling NES games on 3DS and WiiU when the NES Mini came out and it wasn't a problem. It's also a different pricing model.

I was so bitter when they announced Earthbound was coming to 3DS and it was only for the new 3DS.

I had literally bought my 3DS weeks before they announced the new 3DS.

 

If you did have a Switch and wanted to get this, it would be worth it still. The Wii U charged 8 dollars per SNES game, so if you bought 11 of these 21 games you would be saving money.
