Geez I'm sorry to hear you're going through that. Thanks for the insight. I work in skilled nursing care so I'm only involved in the inpatient rehab side of Medicare. I have no idea how beneficial it is when someone is discharged back into the community.

Based on what he said about that guy's past lawsuits, there was literally zero chance he wasn't getting sued. I guarantee they started drafting the papers as soon as he called them and asked for comment before the show even aired.

Can't wait for the double-evisceration on this week's show. Would be so fucking cool if they had a whole segment on abuse of the defamation and libel laws ready to go this weekend, like in response to this and knowing it was coming.

Well, yeah, people believe that Trump is an existential threat. He is. The joke is that people really like brunch, but this is important, and that there's a unique awfulness to Trump that we'll skip brunch to protest about. It's a "Bernie would have won" statement ... it's supposed to be funny while making a commentary on the awfulness of Trump. The "omg stupid neoliberals" reaction is missing the point while specifically alienating needed allies. Over a meme/joke.
