Dude Leaky Breaks is soooo good. Honestly I don't think anything will take the place of my least favorite MO song over "I've Got Friends" or "Every Stone".

This song on the other hand, i'm expecting to love. I love bands getting weird and being different.

I'd take Every Stone of I've got friends any day of the week.

I'd take "Every Stone" as well. But really they are the only two MO songs I straight up don't like at all.

I was just saying it's polarizing. I love it now - but I first had to suspend my expectations for a colossal closer.

  6. "The Alien" ... where everyone that was like holy fuck "The Gold" is awesome is gonna be like "What the fuck is this?"

Still pretty surprised they're releasing this one as the next single. I woulda expected "The Wolf" to maintain anticipation, build hype, and still give older Man Orch fans a little bone. "The Alien" is a fantastic song that shows the vibe of the album pretty bluntly. It's also strange. But the album's strange and the lyrics in this one are kind of the keystone to the rest of the album. I would also disagree this will be the most polarizing song ever, cause the album is pretty full of songs in this vein and it's going to be a very polarizing album in general.

Yeah this song is fantastic. I'm loving the direction of this album so far. Can't wait to defend it to the people who are scared off by it!

    Someday I’ll find me Prestigious

I seriously think Andy Hull is up there as one of my favorite vocalists. I'd rank him up with Lacey and Kensrue, with Kensrue being my top, but mainly because I feel like we've experienced such a huge range from him.

Edit: Speaking of experiencing more range from Kensrue, I guess I really need to check out Right Away, Great Captain.

It's still really melodic and he production is great. Also the chorus is sort of catchy in a weird way. I think it's perfect for wha the song is, it almost forces you to listen to the lyrics

Well it's safe to say after 2 songs this album is already more diverse than Cope. But don't get me wrong Cope is still good record.

The Eventually Home is as close to a perfect album as Andy has ever gotten. Actually, it might be perfect. Start there, if you don't want to start with the live stuff.

    Reclusive-aggressive Prestigious

I think Hope rectified the simpleness of Cope, in my head I like to think theyre a double album and its basically a "choose which of these 22 songs you want to make your very own 11 track album!" kind of thing. The more I listen to Cope the more I agree that really and truly the production is the only thing holding it back, the songwriting and the guitars themselves are pretty fantastic.

this is an odd choice for a second song but I really like it so i cant complain too much
