I've been like drinking and writing this rant about the Resident Evil series. It's like a hateful roast, I love the series to death but there's so many things about it that piss me off, so it's like this mashup of me explaining the games and the canon while ranting about it at the same time. Will I do something with it, like film me doing it in it's entirely? Probably. Will I do it? We'll see.

 

Def post it here at least. Would read.

 

Haha I might. A lot of it at this point is basically verbal but I'm trying to put it down on paper.

This is what it will basically be if it get completed, me drunk ranting while people do extremely low budget reenactments of what I'm talking about. Perhaps it's not original but fuck it, I want to see it become a thing.

In my first year of university I ended up putting up a sign in the kitchen that said "FOOD WASTE GOES IN THE BIN, NOT THE SINK"

 

Food in the sink is so fucking gross. Scrape that shit off in the trash, be an adult and make life easier for whomever has to clean shit.

 

Yeah, it's the worst. Getting odd bits of food in there is one thing but it looked like people were barely even trying to clean up the leftovers. At one point the drain had to be unblocked presumably because of it.

 

So I was supposed to have an interview on Tuesday but I cancelled for a number of reasons. Their HR guy got back to me yesterday after they had that round of interviews and said basically look we really want you to come in for one. So now I've asked for time off and have an interview in central London next week.

Are we lacking music and film discussion on Chorus recently or am I just not as active on here as I was on AP? I never have anything to add to conversations anymore I'm boring as hell

 

I always forget to go in the Music Forum, I was used to music stuff being in general. But it has been slower imo

 

The music forum is super active to the point that I can receive a notification for a thread and it's not even on the first page an hour later.

I'm curious if this is more of a side-effect of not having a huge unifying release to discuss in the last month or so. There's been a lull (I think) since the Rihanna/Kanye/1975 back-to-back-to-back releases. But we also have Drake, Thrice, and The Hotelier (and probably Beyonce) coming up shortly, too.

 

Yeah, many "Official Threads" for bands are super active, but they always were on AP and I was never really a part of them. It's just me

 

Music forum has always moved too fast for any real discussion.

 

i definitely think music discussion has been down, i think there are fewer active users here that have been posting interesting stuff lately, too.

 

Never liked posting in official band threads, much preferred discussion in the artist's album thread.

 

I like talking about things in places I'm not picky

 

I'm sure it'll perk up with Chance/Drake/Hotelier releases

I never know what to really say about music aside from whether or not I enjoy it. I have never been good at articulating my tastes though.

 

Last night I went to a record store to see if they had the new Anderson.Paak album on vinyl. Checked the hip-hop section and it wasn't there so I asked the guys at the counter who said yeah they had it but it's kept in the soul section. Wasn't there either and they found it behind the counter "on hold" for someone. I asked how long it had been on hold and if the person had put down money on it. They said it'd been there two weeks and no they hadn't but they still wouldn't sell it to me. Clearly that person isn't coming back for it lol. I bought Sturgill Simpson on vinyl but still it was annoying.

 

Music forum is the last place I check, after general and entertainment.

Not like this is a music site, right?

 

Outside of the hardcore thread I don't bother with the music forum.
