Follows, June, Escape Plan, Guardian, Brass Ring, and Window are the only songs that I can remember. Which is half the album, which is pretty good.

 

i think "Favorite" doesn't really leave much of an impression and "Make It Up" is meh, everything else rules

 

If I had to pick a least favorite it'd either be Brass Ring or Favorite

 

I feel like this sentence is some sort of reference to Harry Potter.

 

Bullet is my least favorite

 

This album is really straight forward but I love it. I do wish there were more vocal trade offs, and I wish Brianna's singing at the end of Follows came in a little stronger because it gave me slight Taking Back Sunday vibes and I wish it was accentuated.

Follows, June, Escape Plan, Guardian, Bullet, Brass Ring and Window are my favourites so far.

Favorite, Guardian, Window, June, Brass Ring, Escape Plan, and Blurry Vision are the standouts for me. I miss the musicianship from the past records but I really love how Ben and Briana sound on this.

 

Anyone looking to go to the Philly show? My camping trip got moved back a day and I can't go to the show anymore. Will sell for ticket price so you can save or service fees.

guess i'll see em twice then. i feel like i need the headlining date while this album is fresh in my rotation. i'm absolutely obsessed with everything about this band atm.

 

oh man they were so good in slc last night. their set was like perfectly balanced between s/t charmer and spin. i echo the sentiment about them having an abnormally young crowd. s/t is like almost 10 years old now so it kinda threw me off but i felt like one of the oldest people there.

but yeah, they slayed it. can't wait to see em again in sept.

I really don't get the hate for that album at all. Since it came out I've loved it front to back

 

Agreed. I didn't know there was hate tbh, I just figured people have their nostalgia glasses on and love the hits from s/t. I love self titled btw, the sun is actually one of their best, but two worlds is leaps and bounds better imo

 

It always seemed like the band and the fans didn't like that album back when it came out. My only problem with it is how short it is but it works

 

the only song i was surprised we didn't get was escape plan but it looks like they have been bringing it out on this tour.

 

Oh hm. I always got the impression the kids liked it but there was no song that rivaled, like, I saw water or something for a lot of them. Which is what it is I guess. I love how concise it is, there's absolutely no filler on that album. I'd say two worlds is their most raw album too in the way it sounds
