Hmm pretty interesting, I would think this should give their sales a tiny bump. Is it just people who buy presale tickets or anyone who buys a ticket the entire tour?

Really hope the bill is stacked. Love sitting at the regency ballroom for 4 hours

 

gonna wait on the tour to see who is playing with them, if it's tigers jaw then..... wait til the next tour

I mean they are p boring but like idk you're getting an hour and a half Manchester set and you won't get much better

 

Having a great opener is obviously awesome, but having an opener I don't like is also just as good. I get to grab food and drinks before the show and not be so worried about getting there early

 

Unless I absolutely detest the opener I don't tend to care all that much. I don't think Best Coast is good at all but that certainly wouldn't deter me from seeing Paramore this fall.

In this particular instance, I think the (rumored, albeit) support is fantastic.

 

I've already seen them 6 times so it's not a big deal if I miss this round in hopes that the next bill is more exciting to me, I don't really like paying for a whole show just to show up for the headliner or sit through bands I have seen and know I don't enjoy.

i am poor, if I'm going to a show I better enjoy 100% of it lol

I mean liking 2 bands on the bill as opposed to just the headliner doubles the utility you get out of paying for that ticket. Totally makes sense to want more than just the headliner to enjoy.

I'd still see MO no matter what though.

 

I guess we will see... if the rumors are true and it is Sorority Noise then that's a definite skip for me

 

THIS. Part of the fun of going to a show for me is the pre-game drinks and dinner and then just rolling in for the headliner (unless I do like the opener then I'll obviously go in for them).

i dont like sorority noise on record, but their live show is fun, theyre good performers. them, tigers jaw, and manchester seems a little odd billing though.

Idk I feel like the last sorority noise record is them sort of leanings towards this style of alt rock a little bit. Tigers jaw is kind of an outlier but they are a great band and I do think it would be good for them to be exposed to a completely different fan base.

 

Tigers Jaw being the main support on this tour would be a direct effect of them being on a "major label" now. hope to see more bands from this scene (turnover, pinegrove, B&C, etc) get this type of tour slot.

 

manchester orchestra is on APA booking which is the same as tigers jaw and a ton of other "scene" bands, that's mostly what does it

 

oh cool. still, being on black cement has to help to some extent. hope they pick up a couple more bands here soon.

 

Both tigers jaw and sorority noise have albums in my top 10 this year so yea bring this tour on.

 

I was thinking the new citizen record would be on black cement for sure.
