Another idiotic trade. These two QBs don't seem like the types to mortgage your future for.

And seems odd they invested so much into Bradord and Daniels in order to move up with that price tag for another QB.

 

I think the Eagles have plenty of talent. A few large holes (CB 1/2 (depending on what you think of Eric Rowe), DT2, LG) but okay elsewhere, imo.

when are Bradford's guarantees due? have they been paid already?

Welp, really wanted Goff but that has a pretty much zero chance of happening at this point.

I agree with you, personally I still there is a chance we can get Goff still, I truly believe the Rams love Wentz. But in all honesty this whole mess is a effect of what Chip did to this team. The Eagles had a good football team, I fully believe if Chip wasn't in full control we'd still have a good football team. The only way I'm OK with this trade is if we end up with Goff, but if they draft Wentz, I'll be super pissed off because we could have had a stud #8 in Elliot. But whatever, this team has gotten me so pissed off over the years that I finally wasted all my energy even complaining anymore.

So, Eagles are gonna eat $11mil of dead cap this year to trade him either way. But, they can get back $5.5mil of that next year if they trade him before Sept 1

There's no way this is a QB at 2 for the Eagles. Makes no sense. Goff and Wentz both...hard to see them having huge long term success.

Remember when Eagles fans REALLY wanted Andy Reid gone. Because he was the thing holding them back from winning a Super Bowl, and being a playoff team year-after-year wasnt enough

You dont trade away picks that represent 4 future starters for a RB. And you sure as hell dont do it this far out from the draft.

You'd also think there'd be no chance in hell they'd pay big to move up to draft a QB when then just gave decent sized contracts to TWO qbs so who knows anymore!! Cowboys loved Zeek so maybe they panicked?

 

I like the move for the Browns. Don't get the timing though. Why not wait until you're on the clock?

I only really liked Goff out of the two, but that's a nice haul.

 

Neither is on more than a 2-year deal. And one can be easily traded.

 

That's an incredible haul really.

Where do we think the Eagles will finish this season? The Brown could potentially have two picks within the top 15 next year.
