Bored to Death - such a difficult decision, but the bridge on that song wins it for me. The day the single leaked I listened to it so many times and whilst I may be burnt on it now, it's still an amazing song.

If I was a betting man I'd be inclined to agree. But It could go to San Diego or Cynical as well, all three have strong backing

I agree for the most part, though while I do quite like the song California there's songs I'd take over it. That's how the chips fell though in these brackets.

I wouldn't call it dumb. There's numerous songs I like more than it (the other ones he listed, last Train home, good old days, HISALP, San Diego) but I wouldn't say it's dumb. I'll listen to it over a lot of other stuff lol

 

Maybe I need to listen to Last Train Home again, I was bored to death by it the first time.

 

I mean I don't know it's not a horrible song, I just feel like it's the most replaceable sing on the album besides the joke songs

 

Can I interest you in replacing She's Out of Her Mind, No Future, and Rabbit Hole instead?

Cynical again is dominating; however Bored To Death Vs. San Diego has been neck and neck all day long, no song has kept the lead for more than a post or two. This could be a down to the wire thing

 

Do. Give it a chance. It's one of the best from this era IMO and a good indication of what a Matt/Mark song should sound like

Bored To Death

Only bc I haven't been that excited to hear/loved a new Blink 182 single since the TOYPAJ era. It created the "Blink-buzz" that was missing for over a decade.

 

Those songs suck, they're Blink on autopilot. I don't mind them being wheelhouse Blink pop-punk songs but they just happen to be dull.

 

Saying they suck is harsh.
