Can you imagine having such a powerful and recognizable brand after only 2 albums and then throwing it away to release a pop rock album? Only Matty lol. I love it tho.

 

at least we're getting one more under "the 1975" whatever that means

 

As long as the music's good and the fan base recedes a bit I'm gucci

 

I hope the music is good and the fan base expands and they become the biggest band in the world

 

Fans are going to follow this band/Matty no matter what

 

just because they use a different name or start a different project doesn't mean the 1975 is breaking up

 

Jesus Christ if it's the same band members who gives a shit what their name is

 

Maybe DLID will drop "the aesthetic everyone keeps copying"

 

I can't imagine this band regressing and just making a regular pop rock album. It'll probably be as genre bending as everything else this group of musicians has come up with together

 

Having the same group of musicians change names and vibes every three albums sounds super rad.

 

They were already doing that before they settled on the 1975

 

Yeah, but before they blew up as The 1975. Doing that on this level is even more ballsy/interesting.

this band is constantly keeping everyone on their toes and i dont care what happens as long as i get music from them.

Agreed, just seems like a live transition track for a festival mode.

Also - the most annoying UK festival trend of shouting "WHOOP! THERE IT IS!" to any song with a beat. Literally ruined the Pendulum DJ Set a couple of years ago.

 

I mean, you can literally hear "Robbers" as part of that clip so I assume it's just a live "drop"/remix for that.

 

All of these cryptic tidbits are too much for me!
