Been stood up more times this year then actual dates I've had

She mentioned yesterday she was feeling a little sick but she thought she would be fine for the next day. But like.. all you had to do was text me any time but literally five minutes before the date that you weren't feeling up to it idk

 

My least favorite thing in the world is lack of communication. I have no issue if people can't make it or even don't want to hang out but just LET ME KNOW SO I CAN MAKE OTHER PLANS

I don't leave for dates anymore until i get confirmation that the other person is on their way as well or is planning to leave to get there the same time that I will. No way am I walking in a place to sit down, order, and then have to leave.

 

Yeah I text them a few hours beforehand to make sure we're still on, confirm the time, and I text when I'm leaving

 

Yeah. Lesson learned on that one.

I guess it was naive on my part, we were texting the night before and everything seemed good and I didn't think anything of it when I left to head there

 

you didnt do anything wrong, what they did was rude. it's just a hazard we have to look out for these days it seems. like everyone in here has experienced it at some point. it seems especially prevalent when the dates are arranged through tinder or whatever.

It's beyond weird. Every girl was taught that it's a shameful thing and we are absolutely not supposed to talk about it, let anyone see our tampons/pads when we go to change them, etc. I wasn't allowed to wear tampons until I moved out bc bullshit bible you're not a virgin anymore shit so I'm still bitter about how many water activities I missed in my youth bc of it. Straight up bizarre.

I'm having such TERRIBLE luck at online dating right now. I literally get no messages. This has never happened before. In the past I got plenty of messages. Now it's 1 every 3-4 days if I'm lucky. I don't know what's wrong. I figured online dating is best for me to even try to have a chance with someone since I'm so introverted and don't like people. There's like 3-4 guys I saw that seem interesting. And funny I came across one lying asshole I met a few years ago. Bro is lying about the same shit again.

 

I actually liked having sex while my ex was on her period. It wasn't like I wanted to do it solely because she was on it, but if the mood strikes, it wasn't an issue.

 

My ex didn't care but I never feel grosser than when I'm on it so it's always a hard pass from me.
