For how much of the Witness rollout revolved around Taylor, this honestly is a good way to respond without responding imo

 

I don't think a whole lot of it revolved around it? Not more so than Taylor revolving stuff around katy during 1989. Katy also did the pie stuff and recipes for bon appetit and is doing the big brother thing rn. She also tried her purposeful pop thing. It's just that nobody cares about those things lol. Both have drug it out about the same and both are super corny losers about it. They're equally annoying and their feud sux

 

This level of pettiness is inspiring in a lot of ways.

 

Right, I didn't say the whole thing did... but at least in the press there were a ton of articles about Taylor, then Swish Swish and more articles, then carpool karaoke she flat out talked about it and there were more articles. And to be fair, the 1989 rollout didn't have anything to do with Katy because no one heard Bad Blood until the album was out.

 

Taylor's interview about Katy def sparked a lot of talk before 1989 came out and the press were all over it, and then again when she tried to downplay what she did in that other interview and the interviewer called her out on it lol. Then she used that momentum and talk to her advantage. They both use it for attention and sales. The only difference is Katy still flops afterwards. They are one and the same.

 

I suppose so, I agree it's all petty overall though, I also kinda find it all funny though so I'm entertained

 

Tbh I am always down for a good feud but they are so boring lol. They're like declawed kittens. They need to go to the school of Mariah Carey or the Gallagher brothers or something for tips on a real drag.

 

If Taylor does end up charting higher I will find this very funny.

This is pretty much all that's keeping Katy in the news. Maybe she's forcing the drama a bit. Hell, maybe they made up awhile ago and they created this whole roll-out (Katy releasing an "anti-Swift" song, and Taylor releasing all of her stuff on Spotify on the day of Katy's album release) as publicity for both of them, and they're secretly just laughing and DM'ing each other about how it's working, haha.

 

Shouldn't be that hard

 

especially because the album isn't great

Agree that the pettiness would be incredible, but everything that Taylor does is so calculated that I'm sure Katy was brought into this whole thing.

Still going to listen to 1989 today though.

 

To be this petty over back up dancers and an ex is just sad. There has to be another layer to this.

 

It reinforces Katy Perry categorizing Swift as a real-life Regina George. A true "Mean Girls" move.

 

lol i dont know man, the whole thing seems like calculated timing. why now after all this time to add it to streaming? but im just happy i can finally add some t swift to some of my various playlists on spotify.

 

I think the added layer is just that now they're getting back at each other. I don't think either of them really care about why it started anymore.

In a mansion somewhere, Katy and Taylor are hanging out in their PJs counting all this calculated beef money tbh.

 

Katy is only coming off worse cause she's losing which makes it embarrassing. Taylor is just as bad but is successful so she kinda wins on that alone. I like and dislike both of them so I don't have a white or dark horse in the race! I just realized that thing with the horses tbh!!
