This is their first album with lows imo

Which 2 disc thing? The LP is probably just the standard tracklisting over two records. Both versions are on two LPs.

(I know this is gonna get ugly, but here we go:)

You listened to the self-titled record lately? Way overhyped.

    Let's highjack the MacOrch thread.

I Saw Water is still very dope from S/T, but overall it's meh. Spin, however, is incredible and Escape Plan is easily a top 5 soty for me right now.

One of my favorite records ever. I'm probably one of the few people on this site who absolutely loves that record though lol

I know I'm probably the only one who loves Two Worlds too

I've never made it more than 3 songs into a Tigers Jaw album without turning it off (**ducks**)

two worlds doesn't get enough love.

Okay but lets let Manchester Orchestra have their day, they dont get a lot of sole attention around here. I get why its relevant to talk about tigers jaw tho

We reach for the longest shadow

i liked songs off of all of TJ's albums, but SPIN is the first one that works for me front to back. Teen Rocket and Distress Signal are their best songs though.

anyone think that never really been another way out influenced the gold at all? They work as two completely different songs but its almost like they took the stem of that song and rewrote it completely bc maybe they weren't happy with the original, which would make sense as to why it was left off of COPE

Never listened to Tigers Jaw. But Manchester Orchestra is cool. I like them. A lot.

yep, and both have a lot of Brianna. Ben and Brianna harmonies are my favorite.

kind of like Andy and Andy (and sometimes Andy) harmonies.

Fact: Tigers Jaw does not exist before Charmer I kid. Sorta.

Also a fact: "The Gold" is freaking fantastic.

Speaking of... How great are the vocal parts on this song? I love when Andy holds back. Part of the reason why I love that RAGC live record so much. Dude can belt, for sure, but when he really hones it in like he does on The Gold... goosebumps.

That is one of the greatest things Andy has done. Also he looks like a completely different person.

As I was listening to The Gold on the SiriusXM debut, this was my first thought. I love Never Really Been Another Way Out though.

I can't decide what I want to pre-order for this album. I like the look of the standard artwork and vinyl, and I also like the t-shirt and think the music box would be pretty cool (especially for my kids when they get a little older). But I think the gold artwork and vinyl look pretty cheesy and don't really care about the photo book (I'll look at it once and then lament that it takes up so much room on my shelf).
