Making my first ever vinyl purchase (minus accidentally ordering Clash Battle Guilt Pride on LP instead of CD). Of course I'm going to drop $80 on The Gold package.

Really love the song, usually not too into Manchester Orchestra. I'm always really into like 4 or 5 songs on their albums and that's about it, but this one is giving me a better vibe.

So I wonder if the deluxe edition that is listed on Amazon is the album booklet + vinyl like what comes in the bundle. Can't think of why else it would be $10 more. Surely not just because it's a different variant.

Look up Andy Hull Each Part. That song is about his wife. Starts with "Turn off the alarm" I believe.

This is what I'd like to know.

I don't care about another T-Shirt (as I only buy bad kerning) or about the little music box. I really just want that Gold variant.

The gold variant is cool, but I'm more after that packaging and photo book.

May be a dumb question, but does the digital download come with the vinyl? Typically it does, but normally it's also mentioned to. Here, it is not.

I would assume so, but if it's really important to you I would tweet andy he's good at responding to that stuff.

The deluxe on their website doesn't include extra songs though does it? I was thinking it was just the packaging that made it deluxe. But that's what we are trying to figure out.

I mean, I'm going to purchase the vinyl either way, and if it doesn't come with download, I'll grab it off iTunes as well.

I'm really interested to see if this release ends up expanding their fan base a bit, I've already seen quite a few post saying something like, "I've never checked them out, going to do that now"

I don't think this will quite be Black Honey as far as mainstream rock stations playing it daily. But who knows.
