See, but when it's the Democrats fault leftists aren't winning, you can't say that haha. You can't not invite them to play and then blame them for losing. Granted, at the same time, leftists can't refuse to play and then demand to win. Also, a Democrat in that area is gonna get Democrat votes. But the area is also small enough that I would 100 percent fear running against the status quo there.

Like I said, there's no need to continue this conversation. I don't agree with your analysis. Sorry.

I agree nationally we need to work together, I don't see why I have to keep saying that. I'm saying in georgia a leftist will not win the primary and will not win a general. it wouldn't be close. why would we want that just to lose terribly. running a candidate right now that has a reasonable chance to win in a Red district that would turn it bluer than it has been in 40+ years sounds like a good place to start winning elections. there have been I think 3 special elections and the blue/centrist candidate has lost all 3. I'd like to see somebody win something, if the dem candidate in a red district is only going to get dem voters to vote for them then there is no hope for them, if ossof can win that's a start to try to take back the house from the people that want to actively allow people to die.

Much like Trump himself, don't blame him, he's new to this whole thing.

I mean, if I thought your analysis on movements or electoral politics were worth considering, I wouldn't have said what I said about it. But, I do think it is wrong, misguided and is more in the vein of Clintonian politics than actually building anything resembling a left-wing movement. So, we're at an impasse once again.

Do you think a far left candidate wins Georgia 06?

Then, in this case, there is no hope for them

And give it to people who inactively allow people to die.

Expanding access to Medicaid and people with pre-existing conditions definitely does not = in actively allowing people to die. It's the exact opposite, actually.

apparently trying to help people is not good, unless you're able to save exactly 100% of everybody.

If we could all come up with a word other than socialism to call things like single-payer healthcare it would go a long way toward selling it. Like how the "Clean Air Act" passed even though it actually resulted in the opposite of that. Call it, idk, financial securitism or something.

I think a social democrat in the Sander's vein could win.

Able isn't a good word to use. Let's use a different one. How about - trying.
