Tigers Jaw is great. Just saw them last week on their headlining tour and they were fantastic.

I mean there are usually 3 bands on a bill but I wonder if at this point they are shortening the length of their shows, in London there are no openers

Give me Kevin Devine/Pinegrove/Julien Baker opening. (I know they will have just finished long tours and won't)

I mean if you can pack out the same amount no need to bring on another band.

That would be way too stacked of a lineup if Pinegrove or Julien Baker joined.

Oh, I'm fully aware. I just wanted to relive that show back in November lol.

If I had my choice I'd have no opener and a 25 song set...

Don't tease me like this. Haha.

I just don't know if I'm ready to splurge on a Manchester headline show. I've been a fan since early '09, but feel like they're close to reaching that tipping point.

Tigers Jaw would be awesome. New record is so good. Pianos with MO would be super cool too

Kevin Devine and Julien Baker just finished a stint together right?

They did. It was really awesome. Was introduced to Pinegrove on that run and I think honestly more people were there for Julien than Kevin which was odd.

Yeah, it was Petal/Pinegrove/Julien Baker/Kevin Devine. Long night but it was one of the better shows I've been to. They played everything I wanted to hear including some Bad Books.

I've seen them once, on their stint with Brand New and O'Bro in late spring 2015. So good.

    Just a terrible crowd.

Edit: I should clarify that my wife just isn't a fan of Manchester Orchestra. She calls them a "serial killer" band, because she associates their sound with songs that play in Criminal Minds. I'd have to drive a few hours to go to the show alone, which I'm not too keen on, just for ManOrch.

I once drove two hours just to see Manchester open for Brand New. Brand New was a nice bonus though.

I've seen them probably 6 times in the last 2 years. Driving all up and down the east coast and my buddy and I make a trip to Atlanta for The Stuffing every year. Two pieces away from a complete Andy Hull Vinyl collection.

    I've seen Manchester Orchestra:

2009 - Opening for Brand New (Cle)
2009 - Opening for Brand New (NYC)
    2010 - Co-Headlining with Thrice (CLE)
    2011 - Headlining Show (CLE)
2012 - Right Away, Great Captain headline (Akron)
    2013 - Bad Books (Columbus)
    2013 - Headlining Show (Columbus)
2015 - Andy solo with Dustin Kensure (Cle)
2015 - Opening for Brand New (CLE)

I didn't realized I've seen them/Andy so many times until I actually just typed that out.

EDIT - I was at the Brand New/Kevin Devine/Manchester Orchestra tour in Cleveland in 2007, but just went for Brand New, because at the time, had no idea who MO or KD were. One of the biggest regrets I have is not getting there early enough for MO.

  22. I saw them from very far away at Next Big Thing, probably six months after METN. I was 15. That's it

Saw them with Brand New and Kevin Devine in Nashville a couple years ago. I think that's the only time I've seen them. I've seen brand new close to 10 times but couldn't even start to tell you when those where or who they played with. I have a horrible memory. It all went to shit like seven years ago.
