I think Trump is using the alternative definition of "Famous" which is "pawn of the Russians"

I think politicans and religious leaders have so much more reach than anyone else. Does Kim Kardashian really have any impact or influence in non-Western culture (or even just non-American culture)? Maybe people like Oprah do because of philanthropy, but I'd put pretty much every living US President above any "celebrity". Plus people like Angela Merkel, Kim Jong-Un, Xi Jingping, the Dalai Lama, etc.

I've actually been thinking about this since I saw the ESPN World Fame 100. No MLB or NHL players are in the top 100. Tom Brady would be many Americans' first guess, but he's 21. Only 4 of the top 10 are american (LeBron, Mickelson, Durant, Tiger). It leads me to believe American culture isn't as impactful worldwide as I thought before
