Yeah, I'd pay a good chunk to see Foo Fighters live, but I really don't like anything but their singles, and I don't own a single album of theirs. Not even a greatest hits record... BUT dammit I respect that band! It's weird... I'm like a fan of the band but not their music really. Confusing.

I like the Foo Fighters less after I realized Dave is kind of a bro asshole, him calling all pop music besides Lorde "stripper pop " was yikes, their music is so catchy and anthemic though

Foo Fighters are an epic headliner act but only half (four) of their full-length releases are worthwhile. And three of those four are their first three albums.

 

Yeah I get they have their fans but idk a lot of the Foos material kinda blends together. It doesn't help that as Ian said Dave is kind of an ass. Kurt was always so forward thinking about that kind of stuff I.E. appreciating pop, not using coded sexist language, etc you'd think Dave would've picked up on some of that but w/e just because they were band mates doesn't mean they have the same beliefs yadda yadda. I can't deny that Dave is a funny guy though he's very much a living dad joke

I don't think he actually calls all pop music apart from Lorde "stripper pop" there. I don't really know what he means by that either (it is an odd phrase) but it seems harsh to call him an asshole just based on that.

 

I've never looked at him like an asshole at all. Just kind of a cheesy dude. I'd be lying if I said I haven't played the shit out of some Foo Fighter songs when I was younger
