  6. I also laugh at what the IDF has done to Lebanon. It's very funny, to me.

I'm laughing that people would allow her political opinions or religion dictate if they see the movie or not, especially a superhero film. It's not like WW is zionist propaganda.

I really enjoyed most of this. Some stuff in the 3rd act I wasn't a fan of and they could have eased up on the slo-mo in my opinion, but this was a lot of fun.

Edit: also, can I please get the Chris Pine WWI collection? His outfits were on point.

That's easy for you to say from afar, though. And, I don't think war is typically all that funny.

Anyone who thinks that when I found it funny when people post about not seeing the moving because of her views and somehow think it relates to me laughing at actual war don't understand what I'm saying and are jumping to conclusions. I've never avoided a film because an actor in it doesn't follow the religion I follow or has opposing political views. Most people going to watch the film won't even know her background unless they specifically look it up, as the movie will not be addressing it all and it becomes irrelevant to the film. I fail to see why an actor's religion or political life would stop some people from seeing a movie that features them.

I don't actually think that you consciously find warfare funny.

I do, though, think that your response to the ban shows some level of either misunderstanding or disrespect towards this particular region and the effect war has had on it.

Now I don't expect you to perfectly understand the situation there. I don't myself. However, it'd be a good idea to at least withhold your condescending remarks towards this decision, which is an extension of that region's experiences in war.

WB is still sticking with their $65-70 opening weekend projection. Independent tracking has ticked up to $95.

Curious to see where things end up. The good reviews might mean a late surge.

Good keep the projections as low as possible. I want this thing to be the biggest runaway success story in history.

Studios usually keep a conservative estimation to the OW. It's almost 100% going to open above $70 million.

Can someone help explain the difference between IMAX 3D and Real D? I'm trying to figure out which tickets to purchase and I do not want to wear any glasses for the entire movie. Just want the best looking picture without any glasses.

If this thing crosses $100 million, I'll be ecstatic.

I would also love to see this retain the #1 spot next weekend. I doubt the Mummy will be a roaring success.

I believe it's just the size. IMAX 3D is used specifically for IMAX and other large formatted screens. RealD 3D is the standard screen.

I hope WW is the big costume this year for Halloween. Girls dressing up as and emulating such a strong female character is just great.

That's a bummer to find out Gadot's served in the IDF. They have no qualms about bombing Palestinian children or destroying hospitals, all of which was on display in 2014.

Then you should go to neither because both involve wearing glasses

I expect it to sell well like Rey did for Star Wars. I saw a lot of girls dressed as Rey last Halloween. WW won't have as large of a crowd as Star Wars but superhero costumes sell well.

I imagine Pirates' underwhelming performance will help this release, as will the strong critical support. If the biggest competition next week is The Mummy, I suspect this will kill again next week. There just isn't any really strong competition.

Plus, when you consider how Suicide Squad did, factor in the polar opposite buzz for this film and the large pre-existing Wonder Woman fanbase in multiple generations, this being a huge success feels pretty inevitable.

This isn't true either. Films shot specifically in IMAX cameras end up looking better in IMAX (I'm not sure if this was but a lot of DC films are. IMAX typically produces brighter sharper picture than it's real d counterpart, and there are usually other slight differences as well. In all but the nicest 3D enabled theaters, IMAX is usually the better option.

Would you say things like this if a former American soldier was a Hollywood star? Since our government is guilty of the same atrocities. you can support the person without defending the actions of the governments.
