That's a cool set aside from Peace Out.

Peace Out and Do Better were both given alternate version for this tour.

Do Better is being done as a punk song, and Peace Out is like, a rock ballad. I love the original Peace Out, so I might be bias, but I thought it sounded great.

I think the music is the one thing I like about Peace Out, ha.

I'd love to hear Do Better as a punk song. Its just a catchy but flakey song, love that guitar "solo" though

Yeah that setlist is interesting, and opening with Do Better is cool. Also Nibble Nibble?! That's crazy they played that

One of my fav things about SA is the variety they throw into their set lists. More bands could learn a thing or two and challenge themselves and not just play predictable sets.

Especially when you consider how there's plenty of people who would prefer them to just play the same IARB songs every time. It's nice that Max always tries to throw in some surprises, whether it's a deep cut off IDOTG, or something from the Rarities collection, or just a random song that doesn't get brought out much. There's actually no Say Anything song where I think "Oh there's no way they'll ever play that one". I've seen them 8 times + 1 Max acoustic show, and I'm pretty sure the only time he didn't play at least one song (but usually more) I hadn't heard live before was Riot Fest (which was pretty much a shorter version of the summer tour setlist).

Actually ran into Max and Sherri leaving the show while they were waiting for their hotel room. They were nice. Show was great!

Heard he was super wasted at the last show and gave another disastrous performance. Wtf. I've seen the band about six times and they were great every time, but hearing about these wasted performances is both embarrassing as a fan and insulting to th people who pay good money (not to mention potentially schedulling off work, travelling, and finding babysitters) to attend these events. I'm not gonna accuse Max of being an alcoholic or something, because I have no idea what his habits are, but he needs to get his shit together when it comes to drinking before performances.

I'm gonna need some proof of that because I just looked at a video someone posted on Twitter from last night's show and he seems fine.

To be honest I could see someone who's going into a Say Anything show already skeptical cus of that one bad show interpreting Max's normal dance moves as being too drunk. The dude just kind of wobbles around stage even sober (which I love cus it's also how I dance). Ive seen Say Anything 8x + 1 Max acoustic show and I've never had anything less than an amazing time. So either a) I'm just blinded by love for him/the band and won't see faults b) he really loves Chicago and makes sure to give good performances here c) the whole "he gets too drunk to perform" thing has gotten out of hand.

I don't know I'm ride or die with Max so maybe I'm not the best judge but I'm not going to worry just yet because of one post from a Reddit user.

from what im understanding based off reddit and twitter, multiple people have corroborated that he was wasted both last night and another night earlier in Orlando. im not sure if maybe people are misinterpreting his dancing because yeah he does dance around very oddly, but some are saying he was very belligerent and slurring his words. i guess the troubling thing is that Sherri and his kids are also on this tour with him, theyre also playing with Bayside, so its worrying that theyre probably seeing him like that you know? again this is all second hand, i wasnt there and im just going off the comments on the above reddit post and just from searching max's name and the bands name on twitter. i hope hes ok and its either a misunderstanding or just people maybe over exaggerating.

My fiance and I almost went to Orlando - but I ended up having to work. First time I've missed them - but I would've been heartbroken if he was wasted on stage.

Yeah. I'm curious to see footage of the show if any is out there. I've always had a good time at their shows, but I don't blame any fan for being upset for attending a drunken sloppy performance of any band.

After defending him hardcore, this is sad :(.

His voice wasn't that good at the Jersey show as he told the crowd, but it was still a good time.

I've seen him in Jersey probably four or five times over the years and he's never been wasted on stage here either, even before he was clean. But you know, anecdotal evidence and all.

Nah I didn't. I heard they actually took them to the children's museum here when Eisley was performing. Sounded really cool.

i think today im going to sit down and just listen to this bands discography. I still love IARB, have a soft spot for IDOTG and S/T, have fluctuated my opinions on AMD and Hebrews, and still really dislike IDTII but maybe after many months of not listening to any of those albums things will change.

Yeah, he was seemingly fine during my show. I mean, he's a man in his 30s and probably isn't athletic, so he was about as good as I reckon MB would be.
I've seen SA 10 times and it would actually be a bit of a change-up if he was anything but "into it" and present. But I will say, he seemed "off" during the last two times. Now that could be me, but it seemed that maybe he had a few apart from his regular Red Bull? He certainly wasn't "wasted" or anything. Just seemed a little phased I guess? I always got a "in the zone" kind of determination from his stage presence.
