the worst part about making a tinder is having to write something in the bio

I could write a book on missed connections lol cause I'm always second guessing and too anxious to make things happen!

 

Initially I wrote about how I ate 90+ meatballs in one sitting but now it just says "sand is overrated", my favorite quote from Eternal Sunshine....and I have zero matches so, listen to me.

 

Honestly though some of these Tinder bios are too much for me lol. Like, an overwhelming amount of information and it really turns me off.

Is it possible to share tinder profiles like you would an Instagram?

I actually 'matched' with someone on OKC who recognized me from here. I got really excited and felt like CLEARLY I was gonn ahave my fairytale meet-cute but then he told me Jason permabanned him and I was like yeah it probably won't work out.....

 

I don't wanna act like I know anything about her situation, but I've seen this before and in those cases it's been an anxiety related thing. I had a two year relationships result from such a situation (most of it was great too). I've been in similar situations where I feel like the person is too good of a person and I'd just bring them down.

if they recognized you they were probably semi-regulars and that means they probably got banned in the politics forum. juss' sayin. I've seen people get banned who I wouldn't classify as bad people just people who get too heated in arguments.

Bios suck. There's a weird pressure to be interesting and witty in a very concise way. It's usually all a formula of two regular things and one ~quirky thing like "Music fan, mother, and noted cupcake enthusiast." Yawn.

Not like I can be any more interesting than them tho lol

 

If a bio has the word "adventure" in it there's a 99.9% I'm swiping left

 

My swipes are almost entirely based on their spotify artists or the mention of political beliefs in their bio.
