Stewart sucked. Sorry, it's true.

 

I like Stewart, but I've outgrown him.

 

Stewart is a good comedian but it ends there, politically he is bad. rally to restore sanity!! discourse!!!

 

So this girl I know who thinks the earth is flat, dinosaurs never existed, paleontolgy is a cover up, etc. just took the how privileged are you test on buzz feed and didn't understand the point, she said it was "stupid"

She then text me all angry and called it "liberal buzzfeed BS"

Done even acknowledging this person

 

I feel like that's gonna happen with a white supremacist here at some point

 

He's not really even a good comedian. His stand up is bad and all his other comedic endeavors have been bad.

He's really only just been good at The Daily Show.

 

Afte reading the Daily Show oral history and hearing what he and some of the other people behind it were thinking about it, I don't think it's nearly as bad as you think it was. I'd have to go back and look but it was way more about mocking the insane crazyness that was FoxNews at the time than it was about "moderate" policies or anything like that.

 

well, thats the thing isn't it. most of the show wasn't "doing" politics, which is fine, but people treated it as such sometimes, and then on the other end when he actually did move into politics it was dumb shit like the rally to restore sanity. which is why i say the show itself was funny a lot of the time but its political impact as a whole was probably nil or negative. i did get that book for christmas, haven't read it yet

 

It's weird because Stewart will forever be like nostalgic and beloved because of it.

They're only in big cities right now, but I know its a black owned business and they don't believe in surge pricing. Apparently you can use local vehicle options too (bicycles etc)
