What we all want is a tour 'An Evening with Brand New'. No support. Them on stage for 3 hours.

 

Might have to go to this festivalllll

 

$89.75 after fees ain't so bad. Did you already buy a ticket? I might today.

 

Yeah 3 bands MAX with Brand New. And that's if I really like the first two bands. Ideally just 2 bands and the first act is a band im already a huge fan of (I'm looking at the mwY, thrice, OBrother, Manchester scene)

 

any big band should really only have one opener if they're going to do a 90 mins+ set.
three bands please stick to an hour
four and you're pushing it

 

I would bet Brand New & KDev. Maybe Now, Now too

 

4 band bills are not for me. No thank you.

 

echoing the 4 band is too many sentiment. I loved the Hotelier's lineup last summer but I remember thinking by the end of the third band I was sort of ready to go, i enjoyed all of the acts a ton and when Hotelier finally came on I loved them as well but the show felt pretty long.

 

I wouldn't be shocked if the final tour is something like this

Only time I ever saw Brand New with more than 2 openers was when they played their hometown Nassau Coliseum show which had Glassjaw, Thrice, Manchester Orchestra and Kevin Devine as openers.

The other 8 or 9 times I've seen them, it's been one opener or two.

 

Four bands are fine if each band gets half an hour or so, four bands are especially helpful in smaller bills with locals or DIY shows

 

Fuck that festival is damn tempting to go to. This reminds me of Summer Ends 2015 in Tempe: Summer Ends Music Festival, Tempe, AZ

Now that's what I call a stacked lineup for a festival.

 

the closest comparison (though a little bit smaller) i can see to this was meltdown fest 2013

Honestly I just want another Brand New/Modest Mouse tour, both times I saw that lineup it was insane.

 

I want a Brand New and Pentimento tour with Turnover opening.

Brand New/Now, Now would be a great tour. My favorite opener Brand New has had that I've seen was An Horse when they did a few Canadian shows years back

 

genuine question, now that i'm thinking about it: when's the last time brand new went on an actual tour with a band that wasn't all dudes?

not trying to criticize them i'm just thinking about that

that 2007 tour with Thrice and MWY (coming a year off Brother, Sister) was siiiiick

 

That was in 2012 with Cursive as well. I remember Jesse playing bass with An Horse.
