So far for the Good Riddance cover I've gotten two vocal tracks. So I'll continue on this for now.

I hate having to do this, but count me out of this one. I'm finding myself getting unprecedentedly busier and busier lately, and I'm also moving house. So, yeah. Sorry. Excited to hear what everyone else comes up with. :)

I finished Coming Clean and my second cover just never took off...

...so I ditched it and recorded a super quick cover of Burnout. Working on vocals now!

Just got home from my cousin's grad party and I have this song in pieces. Gimme a couple hours lol

1. @elemenohpe - Perfect opening track! You sound rad on it
2. @JakeRabin - I loved your cover! Especially with the ending. Didn't see that coming at all when I first heard it. It was fun singing some shitty back up harmonies on it. :)
3. @clockwise - I really liked the production on this. It's nice hearing Green Day songs with more stripped back production.
4. @Things So Impossible - Another solid cover from you, my man!
5. @therookielot - Again, Green Day songs with stripped back production makes me happy. This one is no exception. Great lofi cover. That ending!
6. JakeRabin - Another solid cover from you on here. I love the intro, especially.
7. bradsonemanband - I usually like to change covers up completely and make it my own, but for this, I decided to do a pretty straight cover. I'm not super stoked on the vocals, but really, I never am, haha. But I hope you all like it!
8. elemenohpe - This one is rad! I love the gritty production on it. It kind of reminds me of the new Say Anything a little bit, and I mean that in a good way! I actually loved that SA album a lot.
9. @Jdaniels - Cool hearing this song done acoustically. I dig it!
10. @xkhiemster - Great job man! The instrumental especially is awesome. Not as stripped down as your usual stuff.
11. elemenohpe - You're great at the super in your face rockin shit, and this shows that you are just as great at doing something more pulled back. Very nice cover! Cool production too.
12. JakeRabin, Things So Impossible, and @DashboardProfessional - Solid cover! I wish I had had more time to jump on this one too. You guys did awesome!

 

haha thanks. I just got a new pedal called "Antichthon" a fuzz/tremolo pedal I've been dying to use. I wanted it to sound like how I would have recorded it when I first heard it in 1993. I would have extended the ending, but I feel like it's just repetitive anyway. Also, I finished it at like 11:30 last night haha. Really All I wanted was a to build up a climax, then combust in from another world.

 

Really bummed I couldn't finish my song in time

I'm all for Alkaline Trio. Matt Skiba is one of my favorites. I wouldn't be opposed to TBS or a Blink-182 III considering it's been two years since the first, and there's TWO new albums since then.

Also Wonder Years.

 

Now that I've finished my degree I'd really like to get back into recording and writing again. If anyone is partial to a Menzingers cover album I'd be all over that.
