I hope they push Rusev but I have my doubts. Curious to see what they do with Ziggler going forward, he looked great last night. I would be okay with a Ziggler/Zayn feud.

 

Knowing wwe it'll be a rusev orton feud because they want to confuse people about who's a face and who's a heel

 

I wonder if Arya Daivari can ride this wave at all. He has a similar skin color to Jinder which means if they're ever on screen together, WWE will book them as at least best friends if not brothers.

 

Also, I hope WCPW goes with a Patreon model or something. With all the losers that make a living streaming mobile games on Patreon, I'm sure they would do quite well with that model for their weekly shows. Maybe offer downloads to supporters for offline viewing.

 

Oh shit, Progress is running a show in NYC the weekend before Summerslam.

Double header with Evolve too. Wish it wasn't in fucking Queens, but I'm definitely in.

 

Oof. Queens is probably a nightmare for me. Definitely a drive if I'm going. The train situation is no bueno.

 

I don't think I will ever want to spend the money it would take to do a Wrestlemania, but there's no reason I shouldn't be able to do the whole shebang for Summerslam next year. Been to many shows but never a PPV.

 

Yeah, I think I'd drive as well. It's only one or two subway rides from Penn to the venue, but it would probably take an extra hour or so compared to driving.

 

So wait, whatsup with Jericho right now? All his interviews and stuff sounds like he's done with WWE* for the time being. Is he planning on staying gone beyond the current Fozzy stuff?

Our whole travel broke down like this:

$600 for two pretty good tickets (outside of giant poles in the way)
$500 for to plane tickets
$300 for two nights very close to the airport
$100 for two front row bleacher tickets to ROH
$80 rental car

I'm not sure how it would work if I ended up going with Chad next year. I know they rent a house/car/etc and pay as a group. Didn't sound so bad price-wise. Booking the whole thing the way I did sucked.

 

Like, cozysocks Chad? That's awesome. A group deal like that would make it feasible for me but all of my friends are drastically further behind in the adulthood thing than I am and they would never ever be able to afford a trip, so I'd be doing whatever solo. Makes it more expensive and less exciting.

For Summerslam, I got take a bus from upstate for $40 round trip, get a 3 day metro card, and rent a hotel or stay at my friends place in Brooklyn. Could probably do it all for $500 or so before factoring in food/merch/alcohol.

 

the kayfabe reason for no timeline on Gargano's injuries is that he's too heartbroken and betrayed to speak to doctors. this feud will be amazing

 

I'll make this offer for anyone who wants, but I live a somewhat short ride outside of the city, via train, and don't mind people crashing. My place is a $20, 45 minute ride into the city. It beats putting yourself up in a hotel.

 

Damn. I may very well take you up on that. If I do it for Takeover Brooklyn, drinks are on me.

I won't be able to go to Takeover Brooklyn this year most likely, but my gf got us tickets to the Smackdown in Brooklyn after and I'm hyped

 

Are we still planning on the Royal Chorus Rumble in Philly this year

I am totally in. Battleground is at the same venue so I doubt we see tickets go on sale prior to that.

 

I'm really hoping my free ticket situation for the Rumble works out. With my mom working the logistics, it could go either way.

 

It's nuts to me that there are 4 PPVs between now and Summerslam.
