  1. Was considering picking up a new MacBook Pro this summer, but looking at the prices and the fact that my 2012 Air is still alive and thriving, I might as well just say fuck it and go for the Retina iMac considering the price difference...

  2. I really love my 2016 MacBook Pro without the touch bar. It's definitely worth looking at.

One of my best buds used to work at Apple. He said one time he was on campus and he was opening a door and behind him was a dude who was too close for him to just ignore, but also far enough away where if he were to hold the door open for him it would be a long and awkward wait. Anyways, he holds the door open for the dude and as he approaches he realizes it's Steve Jobs, and Steve marches right through the door without so much as a glance and definitely without a thank you. He didn't even acknowledge him and that's the only experience he ever had with Steve. We honestly think it's pretty hilarious and are glad it worked out like that cause I mean, I'm sure there are so many people who can say, "I met Steve Jobs blah blah blah" but how many can say, "I held a door open for Steve Jobs and he didn't even acknowledge my existence" hahaha.

My phone has been kicking me out of apps and doing a quick restart since I updated to 10.3.2. After backing up my phone, setting it up as a new phone, and then later restoring it when the problem still came up, apple tells me I'm due for a new battery but doesn't tell me if that'll fix the problem. Or if the battery is even the problem in the first place. Seems more like a software bug to me.

My iPhone 6 was doing that since the update for the first couple days

Is it still doing it? I might try to wait it out but if the battery replacement is going to be free, it probably wouldn't hurt hah. Just annoying since it seems like whenever I go to the Apple store it takes forever.

From my understanding Steve Jobs was a great innovator, but a not so pleasant person to be around. Smart man, bad leader.

It hasn't happened since maybe day two of the upstate. My battery life seems to suck now though

iOS 10.3.3 is in beta so there's at least one more update coming for iOS 10.

Yeah I saw that. I think I will hold off for now. It hasn't given me a problem so far today and I'd really rather not go to the Apple store if I don't have to haha.

I haven't seen either of those, but I have done a lot of reading on his leadership and influence as I use him as an example in my leadership classes. He had a great business & personal passion, he just lacked in his people passion.

i hope it's a real fix, i already had my battery replaced and since 10.3.1 my phone gets ridiculously hot and crashes with any consistent usage if it's not on low battery mode lol

  20. Apple CEO Tim Cook test-drove a device that tracks his blood sugar, hinting at Apple's interest
Tim Cook has been spotted at the Apple campus test-driving a device that tracks blood sugar, which was connected to his Apple Watch.

A source said that Cook was wearing a prototype glucose-tracker on the Apple Watch, which points to future applications that would make the device a “must have” for millions of people with diabetes — or at risk for the disease.

As CNBC reported last month, Apple has a team in Palo Alto working on the “holy grail” for diabetes: Non-invasive and continuous glucose monitoring. The current glucose trackers on the market rely on tiny sensors penetrating the skin. Sources said the company is already conducting feasibility trials in the Bay Area.
    This would be ... huge

Sensor revolution incoming. This would be a good time to get into that space.

  23. I think I'm going to have to check this out. Kind of pricy on the Mac to me but it looks really pretty and really nice to use. I've been trying to find a to do list app like this that works well on Mac and iOS
