I don't always like a post by FTank. But when I do it's this post.

So I have now gone through the Deluxe twice. My fanboyness loves it. I find it hard to pick out my stand out favorites but if I had to; Misery, 6/8, Good Old Days, Last Train Home. But I like the other ones s lot too it's hard to pick. Also agree with @bradsonemanband that it's peculiar mark called 6/8 strange but then there's Bottom of The Ocean(which I like)

Revisiting California because I have time to kill. The first two songs are still pretty great. She's Out of Her Mind is bad and Los Angeles is quite possibly the worst blink 182 song ever made.

Home Is Such A Lonely Place is probably the best song on this album tbh. Lyrics are still pretty bad

LA isn't even the worst song on California. I'm giving that to "No Future".

Baffled by this, that was my favorite song on in during the month or whatever that I listened to it.

Left Alone is pretty good. There are some solid melodies on this album. Again, not much I'd return to and really no lyrical value whatsoever, but much better than the deluxe songs I've heard.

At least Tom actually tried to play guitar back then... even if it wasn't the greatest guitar playing.

TV is a dope song, frigg off with the hate!

I do find it funny Mark contradicts himself in those lyrics though

"What's happening in this world, I don't care at all
But it better not preempt Monday Night Football
I can't even come up with my own views
I'm taught how to think from the evening news, oh"

    so which is it? lol

San Diego is pretty bad as well.

  16. This'll be what new generations say of California-era.

"At least Mark/Matt actually tried to write catchy stuff back then... even if it wasn't the greatest."

  17. "TV" isn't even a song, it's a bad tweet masquerading as music.

"Left Alone" is my favorite, then maybe "San Diego". There's not too many songs (from any artist) that I'm immediately put off by, but I will say "No Future" didn't do it for me when I first heard it and has not grown on me since.

Would anyone be kind enough to email me the MP3 files? I preordered the record and I'm dying to hear these jams currently no computer so I'm on mobile

Good Old Days is okay, it's at the very least a little different and memorable. I didn't really listen to the lyrics

Sad to say... if they continue with Feldmann. Where's it gonna end up? It'll all sound the same.

Then again, the music changed. They went from being a Descendents-lite, to something which got radioplay.

  22. a new Blink song that is worse than Los Angeles
