i don't think either of them are particularly bad. i know that's not an answer but yeah, i guess you can just try both and see which you feel more comfortable with. the thing with spotify is that you can use it on any platform and it has a web app. but other than that, eh i guess? haha

I use apple music for hosting my actual music library and use it exclusively on my phone and macbook at home. I love being able to throw an album into iTunes as I'm leaving for work in the morning and having it in my library on my phone before I get my car started.

I use spotify for free when I'm at work since I can use the web player with a chrome extension to scrobble to Last.FM. and then i'll also use the PS4 app to listen to music when I'm gaming.

If you're choosing between the two and you are bought into the apple ecosystem, definitely get apple music

Anybody have 2Do for macOS and is it worth the money? I like the iOS version but want something that I can use on both, tried Todoist but it wasn't organized the way I want. Or, can anyone recommend another to-do app I can sync on my devices?

Finally got my AirPods. Definitely worth the wait. These things are fuckin magic. No more stupid cords. I hope they update the software tho. Maybe left ear goes back a song and right ear tap forward. Volume control and such. Other than that I couldn't recommend these more. Sound is surprisingly awesome.

  11. Apple’s Watch can detect an abnormal heart rhythm with 97% accuracy, UCSF study says
According to a study conducted through heartbeat measurement app Cardiogram and the University of California, San Francisco, the Apple Watch is 97 percent accurate in detecting the most common abnormal heart rhythm when paired with an AI-based algorithm.

The study involved 6,158 participants recruited through the Cardiogram app on Apple Watch. Most of the participants in the UCSF Health eHeart study had normal EKG readings. However, 200 of them had been diagnosed with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (an abnormal heartbeat). Engineers then trained a deep neural network to identify these abnormal heart rhythms from Apple Watch heart rate data.

my phone is stuck on a loop of booting up, getting to the Apple logo, and turning off, then booting up etc... Anybody else ever deal with this? I've pretty much done everything suggested and can't seem to get it to work. I'm using a 6s

Remember when smartphones were new and everyone was like "this interface is so much more intuitive than desktop computers" and now it takes a training course to learn all of the different ways you can tap, press, push, swipe, and now apparently shake to trigger actions on your phone?

  15. Haha. True. Snapchat is worse than any program. I will say I think the bare bones basic experience is still more intuitive. Some of this is like learning keyboard shortcuts.

I'm really surprised you guys never knew about shaking your iPhone. That's been around for a long time. I've done it by accident while texting.. That's how I learned about it.

    Maybe so, maybe not.

I've always figured Snapchat was confusing to use on purpose...keep the olds out. Now that they're on NYSE, that might change as they try to grow.

So I think the issue is the router and its signal not being strong enough upstairs. The router did change somewhat recently so I think that's it. The Apple TV worked downstairs and my Chromecast doesn't work upstairs either. It's weird because the devices recognize the network, but won't accept the password and connect. I guess I'm just sort of screwed upstairs haha.

Fear not, my dude. What you need is a powerline adapter with an access point.

Here's an example: NETGEAR - PowerLINE Wi-Fi 1000 Access Point and Adapter - White

Sounds like the wifi signal is just tow weak for the Apple TV to connect.

Yep that's exactly it. I thought the signal was fine based on what the Apple TV screen was telling me, but I guess that was an old screen and it couldn't re-fresh due to not being connected to the network. When I was able to use the Apple TV elsewhere, that kind of told me all I needed to know. Luckily it's not the main device I use. It's just a nice secondary option to have when people are sick or don't want to watch the same stuff. I may look into one of those signal adapters or just getting a different router because the one I replaced had a stronger signal.
